Leaders In Their Fields 20 - Kevin Lynch

Kevin G. Clerk185.jpgKevin Lynch has sat at the right hand of two Canadian Prime Ministers, Stephen Harper and Paul Martin. As Clerk of the Privy Council, he was Canada's top bureaucrat, the head of the public service and the deputy minister to the PM... basically, responsible for keeping Cabinet informed and on track and the government running smoothly.

He has also served as deputy minister at the Department of Finance and the Department of Industry. He was a member of Canada's public service for more than 30 years.

Kevin Lynch is from northend Sydney. He's now serving as Vice Chair of the board of BMO Financial Group and he sits on the advisory board of the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University.  (runs 17:52)
