Tim O'Neill

Tim O'Neill200.jpg

Tim O'Neill didn't necessarily bank on a career in finance but he rose to the top at one of Canada's big five. He's a former Chief Economist and Executive Vice President for BMO. He was the first Canadian Economist to be elected to the Board of Governors of the National Association for Business Economics based in Washington, DC. Tim O'Neill is also a past President of the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council. And he's a visiting Professor at Duke University in North Carolina, where he received his Ph.D.

Tim O'Neill grew up in Sydney, NS and now lives and works in PEI where he's the President of O'Neill Strategic Economics.

Steve Sutherland spoke to him from our Charlottetown studio. (runs 17:51)
