• In the first hour... we have the return of our "Gardening Phone-In with Don Nicholson"
  ...Don will take your calls concerning plants and planting between 6 & 7 am - 563-4116
• The fear is that the end is near for the beloved lighthouse, as we know it and love it. Some groups are scrambling to get a heritage designation. But a group in Pt. Aconi has come up with a different way, we hear about it.
• PLUS: On Friday, we announced the 5 inductees to the Information Morning Honour Roll - young people showing leadership in their communities. We'll introduce you to them - and talk about the passions that drive them - one a day, every day next week.

       Tune into Cape Breton's morning show - "Information Morning" - weekdays at 6 a.m.

Information Morning "Honour Roll"

Do you know a young person in your community who deserves recognition?

We requested nominees for the Information Morning Honour Roll. We asked you to call or write us about a student who's showing leadership and initiative. You told us who they are, what they're doing and why you think they deserve to be named to the Information Morning Honour Roll.

Students from grade 7-12 were eligible, the deadline was Friday, April 27th

NOW, we'll select five overall winners and interview them on our program.

They'll also receive a $20 gift certificate courtesy of the Mayflower Mall in Sydney and a $20 gift certificate to our on-line store - CBC Shop
