The Second Muskoka Summit on the Environment recently convened in Bracebridge, Ontario, to consider the crucial topic of Biodiversity, and to make recommendations for any level of government that might care to listen. The keynote address was presented by Thomas Lovejoy, who is generally credited with coining the term "biodiversity", back in 1980.

Paul Kennedy moderated the plenary panel discussion, featuring prominent environmental scientists Justina Ray, Jeremy Kerr, Andrew Gonzalez, Stephen Monet, Steve Hounsell and Karen Kraft-Sloan.
