A Tribute to Ross Taggart

Ross Taggart is one of our most beloved jazz musicians and a founding member of many of the best jazz bands in BC. Right now, he's fighting cancer and as a tribute to Ross, the members of the bands he helped to greatness are putting on a benefit in his honour. We'll start the ball rolling with an entire show devoted to music that Ross Taggart has a hand in.

The sold out  Our Friend Ross Taggart Benefit takes place on Monday, November 26th at Capilano University.
Hot Air's Margaret Gallagher will co-host the evening with the Early Edition's Rick Cluff.
A special Facebook page has been created with details on this tribute concert and other ways to support Ross Taggart.

The latest installment of "Jazz Giants" is on line now at cbcmusic.ca This week's audio treasure is Hot Air's founding host Bob Smith's 1972 interview with Charlie Byrd
