Ian McDougall

This week on Hot Air our guest will be the legendary musician, composer and arranger Ian McDougall. For over 20 years he was the lead trombonist with the Juno award winning Boss Brass. Over his long career he's played on dozens of albums and he's about to release a new one featuring his 12tet....and we're getting a sneek peek.

Ian McDougall and many other top BC musicians will perform at the upcoming tribute concert for Ross Taggart. The Our Friend Ross Taggart Benefit takes place on Monday, November 26th at Capilano University.
Hot Air's Margaret Gallagher will co-host the evening with the Early Edition's Rick Cluff.
The pre-concert starts at 6:30 and the concert itself begins at 8:00 - and it's all happening at the North Shore Credit Union Centre for the Performing Arts on the north shore campus of Capilano University.
Tickets can be purchased - with all proceeds going to support Ross Taggart and his battle with cancer - at the Cap U box office.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
