John Doheny takes us to the streets of New Orleans, we'll groove out on the Hammond B3 with Nightcrawlers Chris Gestrin and Jesse Cahill...and Tonic's Katie Malloch explains what makes the BC Jazz scene unique.

The Sacred Music of Duke Ellington

Duke Ellington considered his Sacred Concerts to be amongst his most significant works. We'll bring you a special concert presentation, recorded just last month at St Andrew's Wesley Church. Singers Dee Daniels and Marcus Mosely along with the Fred Stride Orchestra are part of a wonderful evening of inspired and inspiring music.

Miles Davis Tribute

Adam Thomas is leading an all star band in a tribute to Miles Davis at Cellar. But first, Adam and his co-conspirator Mike Allen will join us on Hot Air for a preview.
They'll talk about the man, his music, and what that's meant to them as artists. And of course they'll spin a few great tunes along the way.
