CBC Canada Reads

Five prominent Canadians will debate which one novel could change our nation and among the contenders is Annabel by Kathleen Winter. It's the story of an intersex child born in rural Labrador. Actress Sarah Gadon will be defending the book. 

This week on the show we are looking at transgender issues. The rising popularity of gender-neutral washrooms is often a refuge for transgendered people. Guest host Frank Rackow speaks with University of Calgary psychology professor Kevin Alderson, he has worked with many clients with transgender identities.
