Ascent of Women

Women have made great strides politically, and financially in Canada over the past quarter of a century, but they still have a long way to go in this country and abroad to achieve true equality with men. Sally Armstrong has spent most of her adult life documenting the struggles of women in countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kenya, she's the author of a new book called "Ascent of Women."

 

Sally Armstrong will be speaking in Room PE250 at the University of Lethbridge Thursday night at seven, the event is free and open to the public.
