Alcoholics and the justice system

A defense lawyer in Saskatchewan is speaking out against the way the justice system handles alcoholics who break the law. In a letter to the editor in a recent issue of the Canadian Medical Association Journal he argues it's not fair to put alcoholics on probation and then tell them not to drink.
