Holocaust play

Calgary's Jewish community will observe Yom Hashoah Wednesday, they will light candles in memory of those who died in the Holocaust. Emily Talia Sztabzyb is the grand-daughter of three survivors, she has written a play about their experiences in the Nazi concentration camps.

 

"The Treasure" will debut Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue. Before the play at 6:30 there will be a candle lighting ceremony for Holocaust Remembrance Day at Calgary's Jewish Centre.
