Doug Dirks speaks to Dee Hobsbawn-Smith about her new book "Foodshed: An Edible Alberta Alphabet." It's a guide to finding ingredients grown in Alberta, recipes and 76 stories of families and growers in Alberta and maps where to find them.
Dee Hobsbawn-Smith is at The Cookbook Company on April 17 from 6:30-9pm and April 20 at 6 pm at the John Snow House. She will also be signing her book from 11am - 2pm at the Kingsland Farmers Market.
