Booker prize long list

Esi Edugyan's is a former Calgarian who has made the long list for the Man Booker Prize. Along with 12 others, Esi Edugyan's novel "Half-Blood Blues" was chosen from a pool of 138 books. The short list of 6 books will be announced in September, and the winner in October.
