Idle No More

Montreal Mohawk community marched peacefully today on the Mercier Bridge.
They are lending their voices and support to the Idle No More movement-- reacting to the Conservative Government's Omnibus Bill C-45.

MUHC

The MUHC is running a 60 million dollar deficit. That number could jump to more than 115 million by next year according to a report issued today by the health ministry. Richard Fahey is the Director of Public Affairs and Strategic Planning for the MUHC. He spoke to Homerun's Steve Rukavina.

Pharmacist acquire more responsibilities

The order of Pharmacists of Quebec has reached a deal with the government and the Quebec College of Physicians
The deal will give them a wider range of responsibilities -- including

Rent going up

Today housing groups are getting the word out that tenants have the right to refuse rent increases.
Some tenants have already received letters from their landlords with an increase between 2.5 and 3 per-cent.
