Today Quebec's College of Physicians announced the results of its review of
22-thousand breast cancer tests. The college found 109 cases of breast cancer
that had not been detected. The Mammograms were from three clinics, including
one in Montreal. Most of the problems are being blamed on one radiologist. Dr.
Frederic Desjardins is the president of the Quebec Association of
CBC Reporter Peter Akman spoke to one of the women who was misdiagnosed
with a clean bill of health on her mammogram.
