The Canada Reads debates are coming up.
This year the theme is non fiction.
One of the five shortlisted books is Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary's Daughter"  
When Carmen Aguirre was six years old, her family fled Chile's dictatorship and came to Canada as political refugees.
Five years later, they returned to South America to join the underground resistance against Augusto Pinochet's regime.
