The puffin has landed

The Atlantic Puffin that was found stranded in downtown Montreal last week, flew back home to Newfoundland -- not with the strength of his own wings...but on an Air Canada flight.
Stan Tobin from the Seabird Cleaning and Rescue Center picked up  the young bird at St.John's Airport.

Boogaard

NHL enforcer Derek Boogaard died last May of a drug and alcohol overdose.
He was 28 years old.
Now, researchers at Boston University have found signs of a degenerative brain disease linked to the repeated blows he took to the head.
New York Times reporter John Branch spent six months researching Derek Boogaard's life and death.

Madonna

It's official, Madonna will perform at the hlf-time show during the Superbowl on February 5th, 2012.  And there will be not 1 but 2 Montreal connections: Cirque du soleil and the multimedia company Moment Factory.

Montrealers are still talking about the death of Marjorie Raymond.
She was a 15 year old girl from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, who committed suicide this week.
She left a letter to her parents explaining that she was bullied at school.
Mikaella Goldsmith is a coordinator at LOVE...or "Leave Out Violence".
It's a youth intervention organization that focuses on violence prevention
