How Much Energy Does Your PVR Use?

If your TV is connected to a box for cable or satellite...or if you record TV shows using a PVR... You may be surprised to learn just how much energy those devices can suck up.
According to a new study by the Natural Resources Defense Council, some TV setups use more electricity than your refrigerator.
And that's whether they're in use...or not!
