Today is the start of a week long celebration of 25 years of Canadian hip hop.
CBC Radio One, Radio 2 and Radio 3 will air a series of interviews, music and concerts with some of the biggest names on the scene:Choclair---k--os and Kardinal Official.
Here in Montreal the hip hop scene has a distinct flavor.
Many Montrealers speak two three or even four languages.
So it's only natural that Hip Hop Emcee's also rap in several languages.
Nantali Indongo is with Nomadic Massive.
It's a Montreal Hip Hip group that raps in English, French, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Caribbean Patois and Arabic.
She met up with the rappers who make up Montreal's unique scene.
