Foster Hewitt calls the action in 1955 as the Penticton V's defeat the Soviets to recapture the world championship for Canada.

Hewitt called a comeback of another sort at the 1955 world hockey championships. The previous year, the Soviet national team had announced its arrival on the international scene by defeating Canada to win its first-ever world title. In 1955 the Penticton V's brought the title back to Canada by beating the Soviets 5-0 in the gold-medal game.
