Newcomer Students Orientation Week

It's hard enough being the new kid at school, but imagine starting the school year in a new country and culture. To make the transition easier, many spent this week settling into their new surroundings with the help of students who were in their shoes not too long ago. Low Rental Vacancy

It's a tough time to be in the rental market right now. The city's vacancy rate for rental units stands at about 1.5 percent. We spoke to university student Charlie White about his ongoing hunt for a place to live for the school year and Geordie Dent, the Executive Director of the Federation of Metro Tenants' Associations.
