"I'm gay, always have been, always will be"

American T.V. journalist Anderson Cooper finally addressed rumors regarding his sexual orientation which had been swirling for much of his career at CNN. This past weekend, the veteran journalist stated in a letter to the Daily Beast; "i'm gay, always have been, always will be" As the news splashed across newspapers, Twitter and Facebook many others were asking whether this revelation even warranted headlines. Casey Oraa thinks it did. He's the Vice Chair of Queer Ontario. Listen audio (runs 6:31)
