CBC Short Story Contest: Autumnal

Three Toronto writers are finalists in the CBC Short Story contest. And one of them could take home the $6,000 cash prize. If they win, their story will also be published in the pages of Air Canada's EnRoute Magazine. We've been airing excerpts from the local finalists, over the past few days. Pamela Ferguson is a local author who helped found Bloor West Writers. Here she is, reading from her story "Autumnal." Listen audio (runs 1:49)

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
