The Age of Anxiety

For some of us, it's a mild unease...for others, a paralyzing fear. Anxiety is a disorder that everyone seems to be suffering from these days. In fact -- according to the World Health Organization -- anxiety is now the most prevalent mental health problem around the world. But what's the difference between a genuine affliction, and normal human behaviour? That's the question at the heart of a documentary receiving its world premiere on CBC TV's Doc Zone at 9:00 tonight. It's called "The Age of Anxiety", and Laura spoke with its Toronto-based producer, Ric Esther Bienstock. Listen audio (runs 6:11)
