CBC Short Story Contest: Look How Pretty

Aspiring wordsmiths are vying to win the CBC short story contest. And three writers in the GTA are up for the $6,000 cash prize and the privilege of being published in enRoute Magazine. Over the next few days, you'll hear the authors read an excerpt of their work. Salvatore DiFalco works as an Italian translator. Here he is reading from his work, "Look How Pretty." Listen audio (runs 3:17)

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
