Beware the Ides of March
It's one of the most significant days in ancient history.On the 15th of March, more than two thousand years ago, the Roman leader Julius Caesar was assassinated.We still remember the warning he received before his murder: "beware the Ides of March." It was a line made famous by Shakespeare's tragedy, Julius Caesar.
