Ford Nation vs. Ontario government

Forget about Leaf Nation. Toronto, it turns out, is home to Ford Nation.Torontonians first heard the term from none other than Mayor Rob Ford during an interview with a local radio host. The mayor was referring to his legion of supporters and what they might do, should Ontario's premier, Dalton McGuinty, not honour his latest request to the provincial government. Apparently, the mayor recently asked them for $150 million to help Toronto improve transit and other infrastructure. The answer, was a resounding "no". And that has Mayor Ford questioning the province's commitment to Toronto... and what he should do about it, with a provincial election just ten months away.
