City Agencies' Spending: Josh Matlow
The continuing saga of the Toronto Community Housing Corporation took another unusual turn today with Mayor Rob Ford considering privatizing the public housing agency. Earlier this week, the city's auditor found TCHC had wasted $200-thousand on luxury items for employees and may have cost the city millions in untendered contracts. City councillor Josh Matlow is a member of the Audit Committee. We spoke with him about his call for a comprehensive review of all the agencies, boards and commissions that answer to City Hall.
