Director explains how school boards decide when to close schools

While commuters curse the big storm, thousands of school kids are no doubt cheering today. Both the public and Catholic school boards did something this morning that they haven't done in more than a decade: Closed the schools, due to weather. That means students and staff are enjoying a snow day today. Joining Here and Now to talk about what factors went into the decision was the person who made it, on behalf of the Toronto District Catholic School Board: Acting director of education Angela Gauthier.
