Food Column: Elton on Fermented Edibles

Our food columnist Sarah Elton was in to tell us about a new business that's into fermentation. The Alchemy Pickle Company is run by Rebekka Hutton. She explained why fermented food is something we should all be eating. Listen audio (runs 6:20)

You can find Rebekkaat the Wychwood Farmers' Market on alternating Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 pm. (She will be there on Nov 30th and then again on Dec 1).

She also sells her products at Stasis Local Foods on Roncesvalles, Live Market in Liberty Village, Karma Co-op and the West End Food Co-op as well as Sanagans Meat Locker in Kensington.
