This Sunday, Feb 17 - A New Heartland Episode

What is lost is found

Everyone -- fans and Heartland characters alike -- are all relieved that Spartan's operation was a success and he is getting better. The road to recovery is sometimes long however, and we'll see Spartan deal with the repercussions of his fall in a future episode. However... [Click on to read more]

I told you a long time ago that Heartland would be losing a horse, and no it's not Spartan. The fatality doesn't occur at the ranch but at Scott Cardinal's clinic, and because of it Ty's future as a veterinarian lands in serious jeopardy when he's blamed for the death.

Amy is not about to stand by and let Ty take the fall for something she knows he isn't responsible for, and she is determined to get to the bottom of what really happened at the clinic.

Meanwhile, Lou has to put an end to all of Caleb's unsolicited and unwanted help and inappropriate attention toward her domestic needs -- talk about having problems reading signals. Yikes! And Georgie gets in tune with her musical side, while at the same time finding out what a recorder really is.

And Jack? The Heartland patriarch just watches as events unfold, and he gets to repeat one of his most famous lines from the very first episode of the series. I know you'll all love that!

It's another new episode of Heartland; number 614 -- the 99th episode in the saga -- and it has the ominous title "Lost and Gone Forever," which certainly applies to what happens at the clinic, but those four words are also part of the chorus of the old folk song, "Oh My Darling Clementine," the tune Georgie is assigned to learn to play.

"Lost and Gone Forever" was written by David Preston and directed by Chris Potter.

Heartland is Canada's favourite family drama, and these past couple of episodes have certainly underlined the drama. I hope you are able to watch it this Sunday at 7:00pm on CBC (7:30NT).

As always, please post your thoughts in the comments section below. It makes for great Monday reading!
