Christy Clarke is passionate about horses, and she's trying to turn a 130 acre plot of land she purchased in New Brunswick into a shelter for abused, neglected and unwanted horses. She recently posted on the wall of the Heartland Facebook page about her efforts, which intrigued us enough to contact her, where we learned that although she had always had the dream of operating a horse shelter, it was watching Heartland that inspired her to pursue her dream. As you probably know, last month we ran a contest on the Official Heartland Facebook page whereby fans could upload a short video explaining why they would be the ideal person to interview Amber Marshall and Graham Wardle, on camera, in Toronto or Vancouver. I gotta tell you - we got some really great funny/silly/serious/enthusiastic submissions. It was a hoot, and we're totally going to do something like this again. Okay, I have something incredibly cool for you today. I'm going to take the day off and hand the reins over to Heartland fan (and regular blog commenter, Heartland community member, and all-around-awesome human being) KMA88! You're totally going to love it. It's so amazingly detailed and comprehensive that I've broken it into two parts, and the second part will be posted later today.

*Note: There are many pictures that I cannot share with you due to these two particular episodes having not yet aired. When episodes 9 and 10 air, I can share them with you. The same goes for my recap. I left A LOT out so as not to give anything away. So if I seem vague on something, this is why. I have been sworn to secrecy by the cast and crew (horses too!). All of the photos you will see were not taken during filming; THEY SHOULD GIVE NOTHING AWAY. They were taken during breaks or blocking. Some have been cropped as well. I want to share as much as I can with you without breaking my promise to everyone at Heartland.
