After two tricky Monday Time Killer Puzzles, I thought I'd back off the hard stuff and give you a much simpler (but still fun to do) one!
Below is a word ladder that contains 9 of the 10 three-letter words identifying parts of the human body. When you finish the ladder, figure out the 10th word and fill it in for the final answer. The other 9 are all alphabetized throughout the word ladder.
How a word ladder works is simple: Figure out what word fits in to the space to the left from any of the clues and fill in all the words until you have completed the puzzle. The word immediately above or below will only have 1 letter changed, and the letters are not rearranged or scrambled.
For example, if the clue was "Fido, Lassie or Lobo _______ ," the answer would be DOG. Then if the clue for the next word was "A thick mist," you would replace the 'D' with an 'F' and the correct answer would be FOG. One letter will change in forming a new word as you work your way up (or down) the list. Do that for all the words and you'll be ready to finish the puzzle.
Technically it is Heartland-related, for all the cast and crew have all of the ten body parts that are contained in this word ladder. At least they had better! :D
What you listen with. (Body part A)
You store preserves in this.
When this moves so does your chin. (Body part B)
Something good citizens obey.
To fall behind.
Use two of these to walk, run or jump. (Body part C)
A tree, felled and having no branches.
A domestic pig.
What you do using only one of rung #6.
Shakira sings that plurals of these don't lie. (Body part D)
Purse two of these to whistle. (Body part E)
What you give a restaurant server for a bonus.
Summit, peak, crown.
You stub this, usually the big one. (Body part F)
What a tugboat does for a larger vessel.
"Moo!"
"3x, your boat, gently down the stream."
Uncooked.
A cloth used for cleaning, such as an old t-shirt.
Fix something fraudulently to produce an advantageous result.
Baby back, or Adam's. (Body part G)
Scrub, scour or scrape.
A pirate's favourite drink.
This (pluralized) holds your teeth in place. (Body part H)
Male equivalent of a GAL.
To purchase.
"No ifs, ands or (singular)".
A portion, or what you do with a knife.
What one uses to play billiards.
Expected at or planned for at a certain time.
Used to add or change colour, in clothing for example.
Contains an iris, cornea, lens and retina. (Body part I)
So then? What's the 10th body part _________ ?
Have fun!

Hey BW,
just came across an article from TV Guide.ca saying Season 6 premieres on Septmber 16th. I already commented on the article telling them it is the 23rd. Have not shared it because it will only start confusion, so maybe you know a way to contact them and let them know about the correct date? Thanks.

Have a great day!
