Wow this Sunday is going to be awesome. I wish the Heartland Cast would come to Helena, Montana so that there U.S. fans can meet them. It would be awesome. I have loved Heartland since I was 8 years old and could read the Heartland Books Series.

I must not let a television show influence when I work. It is wonderful to be home on Saturday nights instead of working 4-11 p.m. I got a raise for my willingness to work Sunday 4-11 p.m.

Heartland is a wonderful show. We have all 4 dvds and when we go through all 4 seasons we start from season one again. Thank you for the update. Engagement ring? um can someone tell me for who?

Woohoo season 5!! Cant wait to buy it! Now for this episode i have some predictions!! I think the death will probably be mr handley and amy tries to save his horses! We couldnt lose someone too close or else in pretty sure there would be a riot among heartland fans hahaha!! And either ty and amy or jack and lisa get engaged! Could be either but jacks comment about lisa being part of the family makes me think it could be them! But its about time ty proposed!! Keeping my fingers crossed for them!! Also For the picture of mallory and mrs bell it looks like they are at mrs bells old boyfriends grave yard at the handley farm!

Didn't Heartland use to have a dog? In Season 1 Episode 2 there's a scene with Amy and Jack at the ranch sitting on the porch, and Amy has a big furry dog in her lap.

This is some seriously great info about season 5 and the dvd's.

Some thoughts. Tim needs to LIGHTEN UP! He needs a respectable girlfriend--not that trainer/jockey/girlfriend. And not the kids mom. She just doesn't dig Tim.

Giving money to charity, being seen at Church, doing community service--and not pawning it off on his daughters. Showing the real Tim. Those are good places to start.

Alas I think it's probably a lose situation. Tim Fleming has always been about Tim.

Sorry to be so critical of Tim. I started watching this show because of Chris Potter but I can't stand his character. Chris is a superb director and I've really enjoyed the shows he's directed.

Now about season 6...I know BW--your sick to death about all the questions. So here's a thought for you. Actually two.

One. Terra Nova has not had an announcement made one way or the other. We were told we hear after the New Year and as of yet we still haven't heard. So some shows may still be a toss up. Don't know how it is in Canada but that's just an American's POV for the moment. Don't quick thinking good thoughts until we hear something solid one way or the other.

Two. You could do a Facebook thing and start a drive begging the producers for another season. Check out Save Terra Nova on Facebook. Don't know if that helps...just a thought.

So this is the episode where someone dies. Ouch. I'm guessing Ashley's mom--since awhile back she was seriously ill. And we haven't seen her.

K, if you think about it, it has to be Amy or Lisa, like who else would it be, Mallory is way to young, (lol), Miss. Bell is too old, It can't be Lou because she is already married, It can't be Ashley cause I think that would be weird, and I am almost 100% sure that it's NOT Miranda because that would make no sense, I have no idea who will get engaged I think it would make more sense if it was Lisa, because Amy is 19, but WHO CARES, RIGHT :D!!!!! I really hope Amy and Ty will get married but I think Jack was jealous of Dan working with Lisa, so.... I don't know but I REALLY hope it's Amy!!!! AMY +TY =

You're the best BW, for lots of great and intriguing news! As someone suggested last week, I think the character dying is going to be poor Mr. Hanley. May he R.I.P. He was a sweet gentleman and horse-lover. Now, why don't Peter and Lou buy his place? It's a fixer-upper for sure, but has lots of potential. Be sure to fill-in any abandoned mine shafts though. Could it finally, finally, finally be true that Ty and Amy get engaged! Or is this just a clever little ploy of yours to get folks excited about that prospect, with another couple the actual betrothed? Hmmmm...my guesses: Soraya and her London beau? Spartan and some nice little filly of Lisa's or Val's? Wes and a cute little heifer?
Dan No-Heart Hartfield and Val or Janice? Jack and Lisa? Now that WOULD be cool! The mind boggles at the many possible prospects. Whomever, get the party started! By the way, my Season 6 Guarantee update: Heartland did almost a million viewers even up against the Oscars. The announcement of another season is only a formality at this point. Let's get that Season 6 DVD out in time for next Christmas!

I love episodes written by Heather Conklin the best, and this one sounds like it will be tops. SO LOOKING FORWARD to more of the best story EVER EVER!

That is definitely fantastic news about the; Heartland Season 4, and A Heartland Christmas DVD's that is absolutely amazing and that is as it should be with just how truly amazing that this show is. There is definitely nothing else like it on television. Yes, I am quite serious about this.

That is also great news that they are going to start selling the Season 5 DVD's in June instead of in November. That is also fantastic that you will be giving some away. All of this is truly great news.

That is most definitely sad that there will be a death of a character on the show. That is amazing that as always Amy is determined to help horses.

Lou and Peter trying to find a home that meets all of their needs. Tim trying to get custody of Shane, Caleb trying to come to terms with the end of his marriage, Heartland gets a new dog, Mallory moments, and an engagement ring. Added with everything else that will happen, this will be another truly amazing and awesome episode of that I am certain.

I would love it if Ty and Amy got married but knowing writers I just don't see it happening yet.
She's just started wearing the promise ring again and the are still young(hope I am wrong of course). After last weeks episode I have a feeling it might be Jack putting a ring on Lisa's finger - they talked about marriage and her being part of the family. Which would be so cool cause I really like those two. I'm glad that the character dying is not one of the main cast or sugarfoot! But poor old Mr Hanley : (

Aw. That's sad. It looks like Mr. Hanley is the one that dies. That's really too bad. As for the engagement ring, my guess is Jack and Lisa. I'm pretty sure BW hinted at some major changes for those two some time ago as well as a twitter mention of a prop ring and if it were Ty and Amy, I think they would have kept the engagement ring a huge secret. Really excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds!!

I hope that nothing happens to Sugarfoot as even though he is supposed to be getting older, I hope that nothing happens to him as I know that would be sad for everyone.

Caleb not being able to save his marriage seems rather odd unless Ashley's mom got involved and she listened to her mom. Ashley should return as other people (Amy, Lou) may be able to influence her to work on her marriage rather than just throw it away.

All the talk and anticipation has been about Ty/Amy getting engaged this season; but i don't see that happening this episode. My guess is Tim proposes to Janice with the thought that him being married will help his custody case.

I do know this though, if Amy/Ty don't get engaged this season, there will be ALOT of disappointed fans.

Looks like a busy episode! Hope there's enough left for the remaining episodes. As for Tim, I hope his impulsiveness doesn't extend to proposing to Shane's mom without a pre-nup but with a guarantee of half of everything he owns! As for Ty and Amy getting engaged, well, neither has a real job with real money. Neither went to school which would have meant location shooting on some campus which may have broken the show's budget. So I guess it's Jack and Lisa and a Paris honeymoon we never get to see.

Just in regards to Ty and Amy in the books and them parting ways - even my mum thinks this should happen in the series because it's realistic (young love and all that)- I of course totally disagree. I have friends from high school who fell in love and dated through school and got married after they left and have kids now. It does happen. Plus who would Amy and Ty end up with if not each other. Also the series is based on the books but I think it's fair to say it's not following the same plot lines. I don't see who Tim would marry at this point unless he married Janice to help his custody battle to get Shane. Still hope its Jack and Lisa - they could do with some happy story lines : )

Really thrilled about the DVD release of season 5! My prediction is the engagement ring is for Soraya. Not really a fan of the whole Shane storyline. The boy's grumpiness is grating - really have seen NO enduring qualities about him and I feel like the whole - unknown son angle- doesn't play out well. Episodes sans Shane and Miranda are so much better!!! One of my favorite episodes is at the race track when Amy races and Lou's wedding. I miss episodes like that. Also, is Ashley gone for good? I miss her and Val's characters. Thanks BW for the great post, LOVE the show.

I read the preview of this blog and was in love thinking the announcement of season 6 was here then clicked read on and in the next line i hated you..then i quickly fell in love again while reading the rest of the blog and fell absolutly head over heels when you mentioned an engagment ring!!! haha i promise i didnt really hate you. I KNOW Amy's only nineteen but they WOULD be getting married when she was twenty, so please! Just watch it'll be Sunday night, my heart will be pumping and then, BOOM! it stops because it's NOT TAMY!!! I'm REALLY scared it's gonna be Jack and Lisa though considering what they were talking about in the last episode... I have a feeling in my gut that is saying: "It's Time."

As much as I would like it to be, I really don't think it will be Amy who gets the ring. BW wouldn't make it that easy or obvious. There were some good guesses earlier. Janice, Miranda, Soraya, I don't think Lisa.
I do believe Mr Hanley is the who dies so his place has to be auctioned off. And it is a possible place for Peter & Lou to buy.

What an amazingly suspenseful post BW...thank you for making me the most anxious all season to wish a weekend away :) I LOVE all the wonderful news about Heartland and so hope that CBC will see what a valuable and popular show they have which is so needed on t.v. right now. With the great DVD sales I hope this helps the case for a Season 6. I so wish the ring will be placed on Amy's finger but I bet it is not. I don't think you would mention a ring if it was intended for Amy. Hi Heartland fans since this show has come out my dad and I never miss it. We just love the show I have always loved horses. I feel like I can understand how Amy feels when she horses being hrut. Heartland looks like a place that I would so like to visits one day. I am also hoping that there will be many more sesons to come and that Amy will sing again. She has amazings voice.

First of all I think Val or Mr. Hanley will die at the end of the season. I also think that it's time Ty asked Amy to marry him. I know it sounds weird, but i kinda miss Chase... It was just fun to see Amy and him always butting heads, and to see Ty get jealous, lol.
I am sure that it isn't the case, but it would be AMAZING if the engagement ring was for Amy. The writers probably wouldn't do that just becasue they like to torture us as well (but you still torture us the most, BG!).
Anyway, it is most probably for Lisa but i'm not sure.

Cara! That's the great thing about a TV show based on a book...it can be mostly about it, but it can take a different turn too! That's the magic of TV! Also, there are already differences between the books and the show...so I'm sure the Heartland TV writers will be good to us...they have to be!

Great news about season 5 DVD! Thanks BW. My prediction is that the ring is placed on Miranda's finger; it will be Tim's impulsive decision. It fits with his character. I think the focus for Amy and Ty this episode will be saving the horses after Mr Hanley dies (another prediction). There will be more build up I think around Ty and Amy getting engaged. I also think, especially with the picture of Lou looking at the house, that the house she wants to buy is Mr Hanley's. Really looking forward to what I'm sure will be another gem of an episode. Note: I think it would be a good idea as someone suggested, to start a petition for CBC have a season 6. As many have said, there is nothing on TV like Heartland, a good quality, honest, real, for all ages, show. This is sad, but so true.

What ever happend to the dog that was shown for only one episode in Season 1?

I have never been a T.V. person; I do not get obsessed about shows. Heartland, however, is the only show that I have ever watched and read about religiously. I love the characters. I love the family values. This show needs to continue for years for all of us who love appropriate in-depth character analyses television.

It hints that Tim makes rash decisions. I wonder if he proposes to Janice, who turns him down? This would make him on the edge with a lot of people. I would be pretty shocked if Amy and Ty got engaged. Amy is still too young and Ty still has some obvious issues he needs to work on.

I really hope that Ty proposes to Amy!!!! I am so exited to see this heartland episode on Sunday!!!

This only confirms to me that there will be no season 6. All the loose ends are being tied up - Lou and Peter (Hanley's farm), Jack and Lisa (the engagement ring), Caleb and Ashley (divorce), and Ty and Amy will probably get engaged in the last eposide. Also, releasing season 5 in June only tells me they are not re-running it over the summer this year because no season 6. The cast are not out promoting the show. The reluctance to announce a season 6. The writers and other staff would surely be working on a new season by now and that could not be kept secret. Sorry Heartland fans, the writing is on the wall. To top it all off, CBC is the stupidest network in history. Maybe CTV would pick it up.

Hi everyone ! Wow - Heartland has had quite some stuff happen in the last few episodes !! And it just keeps getting better.... !! Bring it on !! As for who is going to die, and who gets the ring - my bet is Mr.Henley for the death, and Jack & Lisa for the engagement. Ty & Amy are too young to get married yet, and they seem to be happy with the way things are between them right now. Well - whoever it is getting engaged: I am very happy and excited for them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a Season 6 !!!!! As for Season 5 on DVD: yeay ! Can't wait ! I have Seasons 1-4 & A Heartland Christmas on DVD already.

Ty did tell Amy there was a lot he needed to say to her, but I don't think they are at that point. I think Tim trying to get Shane back to Heartland or Big River will do anything including asking Miranda to marry him. What about Janice? That is when he realizes he made a mistake.

Whow! I was a bit stunded by the ending with Tim drinking. It makes sense, given how he thrashed about without steadying himself and smashed his life up, but whow! Now I'm not sure what to expect comes next. I hope not something that hurts AMy, Lou, Shawn and Jack.

Bee and Eryn...I saw Amy`s cowboy slippers at Lammles store in Calgary last year.

I remember whem Ty returned after the bike crash he was wanting to say a lot of things to Amy. this was it the loft. did he ever get to have his talk with amy?he seemed to have a lot to say to her and it was important to him. did anything become of this?

Well, another super episode that foxed nearly everyone here. No ring for Amy (darn!) but Tim's cold hearted manipulation of Janice more than made up for it in the drama stakes - that slap from her should have been a punch.

The good parts were fortunately really good; Peter, Lou and Katy have a new home to fix up thanks to Ty's honorary Grandmother, Amy has a monster dog to keep her feet warm at night, and Jack happily overpaid for horses!

But still I keep coming back to Tim's obsession with Shane - he's sidelined his daughters, insulted Peter and dismissed Caleb as a fool, and all for what? For myself I suspect this is his misplaced attempt to make up for lost chances, but if he really wants to be a better Dad to Shane why doesn't he simply ask the real expert in good/bad parenting -Ty Borden.

A really good episode that i enjoyed very much. We saw the family really come together here(sans Tim) and it is nice to see Ty has gotten over some of his past issues.

Really don't like where the writers are going with Tim. I understand what they are doing, but IMO they are going too far in the degradation of the character. Some things you can't take back and some things you can't forget; and unfortunateley the last few episodes they have destroyed the character to the extent where I may never be able to look at him the same(even though I know they will resolve it peacefully in the end). I just think they went to far and the damage is already done. It's a shame because I was liking Tim more this season than any other.....now I simply dispise him. I'm wondering if that's what the writers are going for or they want us to feel more compassion for him....becasue at this point I feel no compassion, only disgust.

But other than that, I really loved the episode. I only wish Tim would have took Peter up on his offer to step outside:))

Why would they want to change anything about it??? And on top of that I feel like they´re still too young to be married... Look how it turned out with Ash and caleb...

Yay!!! The person face down in the field wasn't an important fixture in Heartland!!!! Hooray...well that sounds a little heartless R.I.P. Mr. Hanely...but gee bw you sure had us scard with that person face down in the field... I never thought of Mr. Hanely though so good job in freaking us out!!! It was another great episode and the bidding wars were exciting...Stupid Tim atleast Janice figured it out but it really sucks that she had to get hurt in the process, although nobody was too excited about it, but Janice was already planning for her and Tim's future that he had to screw up! Keep up you SPLENDIFOROUS work BW we love you!!!

The only time I laughed out loud in this episode was when Tim tried to get down and propose to Janice. The acting and expressions in this episode were fantastic, and I can hardly wait to see what Lou does with the Hanley place. Bless dear Mrs. Bell, and Mallory's innate perceptions that moved her to intercede. I think Caleb will help Tim, because it seems like Caleb has a sense that Tim is in trouble. He's a growly bear (Tim)! Don't blame Peter at all for wanting to have it out with him. Yes, Janice was likeable in this episode, and she was used and knew it; good for her to smell the roses. Glad Amy has a dog, but I kind of hoped it would be Ty's dog instead. Oh well, an excellent episode and leads us into the next one.

@Richard. Yeah! I remember that too! I keep waiting for them to have this "talk" Ty was talking about. Right after the accident, Ty kept saying: "I gotta talk to Amy" AND at the end of Aftermath he said: "Amy, there's so much more I wanna say to you." What did he want to say! It seemed like it was extremely important. And now it's like it never happened! I hope this storyline is brought back up before the Finale.

I was wondering if you could tell me if this wil happen?
I am hoping that before this season is over we will see Amy and Ty take it to another level. It just feels like there is something in Ty that needs to come out. Something that is warming and heartfelt and tear jerking (happy tears). Something that will make all girls watching wish they were in Amy's shoes and all guys watching wish they had said/did that. I don't necessarily mean engagement but some big I LOVE YOU gesture. They appear to love each other so much and after Ty's accident he seemed to have had something he wanted to say to her , and as of yet never did. I am on edge just waiting for that big moment. Hopefully I won't have to wait for next season (if there is one) for this to happen.

I just KNEW the engagement was going to be Tim trying to make his case stronger for getting partial custody of Shane. His character has really shown his true colors since the start of the show. Yikes.

Hello Everyone;

This was another amazing and awesome episode of Heartland and I am being serious.

I had found certain parts sad, certain parts heartwarming, and certain parts funny.

It was most definitely sad that Mr. Hanley had died and alone. The dog that he had was with him however there were no humans around him and that was really very sad. It was very sweet of Amy to always do things for Mr. Hanley and especially in this case because otherwise he wouldn't have been found.

I loved how Amy was determined to help the horses. I was wishing that Tim would have agreed to help her with them as she has always helped Tim in the past. I found that in this episode Tim was bitter about his own situation and he was letting it reflect onto others here. He had made comments at meal time towards Peter and he had made comments towards Caleb.

When Caleb had come out with the divorce papers stating to Tim that the divorce was final I didn't care for the comments that Tim had said to Caleb - I had felt bad for Caleb here. Later when Tim had made comments to Caleb I really liked and I was truly impressed by what Caleb had said here - how if he would find the right girl that he would marry her tomorrow. I also like how he had talked about he and Ashley's situation - I was happy to hear that also.

I loved how Peter was really there for Lou in this episode he really stood by her and had supported her decisions. Obviously he wanted her to discuss things with him however he did support her decisions.

I really love that Mrs. Bell and Mallory were together in this episode, I really think that these two are good friends which is good to see. I really had liked how Mallory had convinced Mrs. Bell to be apart of the auction. I really liked it when Mallory had spilled her drink on the man who was trying to buy Mr. Hanley's property.

I always enjoy Lou's creative thoughts and ideas on how to make a place more beautiful and I love it that she has the same thoughts for Mr. Hanley's property. I found the moment when Mrs. Bell had agreed to sell Lou and Peter, Mr. Hanley's property - I found this moment to be quite heartwarming. I always love those moments when friends and family are there for each other and this was most definitely one of those episodes.

Again, I love Amy's dedication to helping horses and she was also here in bidding for the horses. I love how Jack had kicked in and decided to bid for the horses way more than what he had planned on. I also thought that it was really cute when he had said; "Don't mention it." Because Jack himself was in shock about how much he had contributed and it was so sweet that he had done so.

I always love how supportive Ty is of Amy in any and all decisions that she makes. How he is always there for her. He was also protective of her when they had found Mr. Hanley face down. Protective in the sense that they didn't really know what had happened to him and Ty wanted to make certain that Amy wouldn't become more upset by seeing him.

The dog Lobo is really very sweet and beautiful and if I was Amy I would've sneaked him into my room also. I thought that it was cute when he had groaned a bit when he was on Amy's bed.

Tim was definitely not making good choices in this episode and when he had proposed to Janice as a way to try and get custody of Shane, I felt that was rather careless and cold to do that. When one proposes marriage to another person it should be on the sole basis that they want to be with them, not as a means to gain something. (Yes, I am referring to the character Tim here.) I had actually felt bad for Janice here because (in this episode) she really seemed to care for Tim. The slap wasn't my cup of tea however one could understand Janice's reasoning for it. Tim's drinking at the end another bad decision on his part as he is not dealing with the situation he is only avoiding it and drinking only makes for more problems.

Jack in this episode gave Tim some really good and sound advice to talk to Miranda. Yes, I do remember that Tim said that on the advice of her lawyer that she isn't letting Tim talk to her. However I think that if he puts true sentiment into communicating with her that he is not a threat to her and for the sake of their son that it should be joint custody with a mutual agreement between him and Miranda - then just maybe she would come around for the sake of their son.

So, all in all this was another really awesome episode and there were some really good family and friend type of moments. There were some really good and amazing things that had happened in this episode.

Tim, Tim, Tim. Get a grip. Better join AA and get some (a lot of) supplemental therapy too...starting now. Get your life together and maybe you and Miranda can get married some day/year in the future, or at least have an adult custody-sharing relationship. Maybe Janice will take you someday, and maybe she can help you get help now. Janice became a likeable and sympathetic character for the first time in this episode. Time for the entire Bartlett Family to rally around Tim and do an intervention. So great that Lou and Peter got the Hanley place. Surprised not see Mr. Hanley's sister in the picture somehow, but that would have made it all too complicated, especially since she's a lawyer.

I never knew this was a show I have read the entire book series!!!! I was one nextflix one day and I saw Heartland I was like no way ever since I cant stop watching I managed to get threw seasons 1, 2, and 3 in one whole week and then season 4 and 5 right after that!!! I am in the US so I dont get to watch it on sundays I have to wait until monday but thats fine I usually hate mondays but Heartland makes me enjoy them. I love this show and I cant stop watching it, I really hope they get to make a season 6 I may just cry if they dont!!!

I have a question for you: Are you ever going to tell us who you are??? I think that when the series ends (The Saddest Day, in the history of Sad Days :P) You should tell us who you are!!! And you know how you posted up on Chara's comment that Wild Horses was episode 517, it's episode 516, True Calling is episode 517 and Candles in the Wind is episode 518! Can't believe that the 5th season is almost over!!!!! Hey... can you maybe give me a little spoiler on when Mallory is going to make her "bad choice" is it in 516, 517, or 518 I MUST KNOW BW!!!!!

Another wonderful episode of Heartland!! Thats all I have to say.. it was amazing! Makes me hope even more that someone will be relieving us all very soon by telling us there will be a season six for sure!!!

Smokey - Not to worry. Never-ending loose-ends to tie-up in a Season 6, and a Season 7, and more. Not to mention creating new loose-ends as needed. This year's excellent viewership ratings guarantee a renewal for next year. The writers are always working a season ahead anyway in terms of storylines, etc. Probably have the first few Season 6 episodes all but completed for when filming begins in early May. The Season 5 DVD coming-out earlier than before is only further recognition of the show's success, and also, releasing as early as possible is a growing trend in the industry. Summer viewership of the re-runs has never been that great anyway compared to the regular season first-runs; it's summertime! As long as Amber, Graham, and Shaun are willing to keep it going, the show could survive indefinitely with viewers, even if Michele and Chris and others wanted to move-on to other projects. Not that I think they would want to. All of these actors have enough time-off to work on other things if they want to do that. I'm not convinced that Amber even wants to be a "movie-star." Maybe she'd rather even go to vet school for real. I sense that she's a "Renaissance Woman"...and Graham also seems to have a lot of talents and interests in many realms. So rest easy, and plan ahead for the first episode of Season 6 airing in mid/late September. And remember, since the final episodes of every season air about 4 months after the filming wraps, they could easily make-up lost time in December or even later if the start of shooting is delayed awhile due to late decisions by CBC. But plenty shivering and snow if that happens!

I would have expected somebody to die in the season finale. . . that was shocker!! :p Poor Mr.Hanley, he was so sweet and generous to his horses. I love Lobo! I'm happy that Ambers character loves him! One of the biggest reasons why I love this show is because it seems so realistic!!! They actually do care about the animals and it does bring stuff up from the past, and the punishements are realistic, oh, and the problems, and the way they dress (not like super models) and what conversations they have. . .I could go on but, I'm running out of space!! :'(

Finally got caught up in the Heartlands. Wow!!! I can't believe all that happened in one episode!!! At the end of the episode I saw Tim drinking. I hope he doesn't go down that path again!!!

This was one of the best episodes I have seen in a long time. Such richness of family and such richness of characters and ah! the landscape was breathtaking in this episode. So elated about Lou and Peter getting the Hanley's place. Oh how a adore Ms. Bell.

What can I say about Tim...he sure needs to learn authenticity and honesty with himself and others. Why does he not tell the truth? Oh boy! He has really dug himself deep. He is still, in a way, ignoring his daughters. He just doesn't seem fully invested. My heart sunk when I saw him drinking. It hurts way deep. I hope he does not mess up what he has built up with Lou and Amy. At this point, I actually think Janis is much better off without him. I am glad she stood up for her self and saw Tim for who he truly is - inauthentic and so self-absorbed.

Hi BW, i was wondering if you could help me find Breaking Down and Building Up. I can only find the second and third part of the three parts on YouTube and i cant watch it here as it says it is unavailable. I really need to watch the first part or it won't make sense!

What has happened to Amy and Ty? They no longer seem to have the intense feelings for one another. A great follow up episode would have been for Ty to really express his feelings for her. They are acting too young and innocent for their ages.

So, I'm guessing Mr. Hanley is the character who left the series for good? After all, he was face down - dead.

Any ideas which episode it is going to be when someone will be gone forever from the show? I'm a little worried about Scott looking at this latest trailer please tell me Scott is ok I'd be very upset if any were to happen to him. Damn this someone is going to be dead, I can't stop thinking about it!! Please hurry! and say who it will be.

Hi BW, OMG! I loved this episode! I can't believe Tim, i hate his character! And also he proposes to Janice! I can't believe that. I was thinking, if he really wanted to get Shane back then it would be more sensible to propose to Miranda! I love the dog (Lobo) I think is his name. Good name Caleb! Mrs Belle actually buys the place which i was surprised about! But gives it to Lou and Peter! I was so disappointed that Ty didn't propose to Amy. Some people are saying they are too young but their not! She is nearly 20! I soooooo want them to get married! They are perfect for each other! Anyway can't wait for season 6 if there hopefully is going to be one. I totally on someones idea of a Facebook protest for a season 6! They can't end it now! OMG!!!!! Cant wait! I wish it still aired in the U.S. :( but i just have to wait for it to be on youtube which should be next week. Is it Ty and Amy who get engaged? I mean Ty gave Amy a promise ring. I WILL BE WAITING FOR THE NEWS OF SEASON 6. I just wanted to say that I love this show and I am so greatful there is a show about horse behavior as I wish to become a horse trainer when I grow up. Similar to what Amy does. (I know she is a made-up character) but I actually decided that I wanted to become a horse trainer before I started watching Heartland. So Thank You! Also PLEASE start airing in the U.S. again. We miss you so much! :( and if you do would you post the day/time its on so us Americans can see the amaing show. I LOVE HEARTLAND!!!!!

I finally Watched the episode ahh it was amazing!!!!
I hate Tim he is such a jerk and It stinks that he proposed to Janice I really dont like her and I was hoping the ring would v for amy (from Ty of course)
Any way enough with thebad stuff this was a great episode! I loovve Amy's new dog lobo he is so cute and so are Ty and amy;) also I'm really happy Lou and Peter(and Katie :) ) got mr Hanleys farm even though it was sad he died. he was such a nice man In the few episodes he was in. I wander how he died because I thought it was rather odd he called Amy to take care of his horses the night b4 he passed it made it seem more like suicide than health or any thIng like that. Either way a great episode ( I no I've said that a lot) and can't wait till next week:)

I love this show. It offers heart and values and scenery and entertainment. All these are missing from television today, on the whole.
Unfortunately for me I live in the United States. The only option to watch the show is to give my personal information to companies I suspect are scammers anyway.
I understand your need for copyright protection. I really do. Something as special as Heartland needs to be protected. My question is, why won't you let people outside of Canada watch? I am sincere in this!
We can't watch on your website. Reruns have disappeared from local television channels. And there is nowhere on the web to view.
From reading comments on this blog, it seems to me you have a huge fan base that just happens to live outside the Canadian borders. Why do you deny us?

[Blog Whisperer: Hi karon! The reason you can't watch the episodes on the CBC site is because CBC is not allowed to make them available internationally. When the rights to broadcast the episodes in the U.S. were granted, it included the rights to stream the show online (whether the U.S. networks chose to excersize that right is up to them). Unfortunately, this is pretty typical - for example, Canadians can't watch any U.S. network shows online - nothing from ABC.com, or CBS.com, or even Hulu - it's all blocked. Even Netflix in the U.S. has far more programming than Netflix in Canada. There's really nothing we can do about it, although I totally feel for you. However, the next block of episodes is coming to American TV screen soon, I'm told! And they are catching up fast - this next batch will take U.S. viewers well into season 4.
