I love the Heartland movies! Just waiting anxiously a whole week to see the next episode. You are all so talented and make me feel like I am right in there with you. Another thing is that it is being cast in Alberta, in my home province, and familiar places, makes it so much more special. You are all very special, each one of you make it look so natural. Thanks very, very much for these awesome movies and hope you will just keep on making more and more seasons.

hey take that crappy add to raise opposition to the Wheat Board decision off your website....it is not appropriate to use HEARTLAND to further some half assed notion that wheat and barley farmers are too stupid to manage the sale of their crops.....do you actually think that corn and soybean farmers are smarter !!! HEARTLAND is not a vehicle for political rhetoric.....you should be ashamed of yourselves....
[Blog Whisperer: Your comment is noted, but please know that ads are placed by ad operations at CBC - they have nothing to do with the show. This ad, like every other ad, probably shows up in a hundred places on CBC.ca. Absolutely love Heartland. And I love horses and watching Amy work with them. Could more be shown on her training the horses (does she have any training on this herself or is someone showing her?)
Thanks for a great show and hope you keep it going for many more years!!
We'd love to see Catherine (Lou/Peters baby) grow up.

Hello BW!! :) i have a question, why does it say on the Heartland calendar that on Dec. 25th A Heartland Christmas is playing, but the description is for episode 509. I'm just wondering which one it is, Heartland Christmas or episode 509. Thank you so much for keeping all us Heartland fanatics up to speed on the Heartland world! We really appreciate all that you do! :)
[Blog Whisperer: Hi Teri - I TRIPLE checked, and Dec 25th doesn't have the 509 description in the calendar. Episode 509 is playing on December 4. ]

Hey BW! I just happened to read Yeri's comment and I looked on the calendar and I clicked on Dec. 25th and the title said A heartland Christmas TBA and the description was the saem as episode 509! Just wanted to let you know!!! Thanks sooooo much for keeping us up on everything Heartland...I think we'd be just slightly lost with out you(more like completely lost!:)) Awesome new episodes!!!
[Blog Whisperer: Argh! I honestly don't know what's going on. I've looked at it on 4 different computers and the correct description is displaying for me. Anyone else having this problem? ]

When you click on Dec 4th and THEN on Dec 25th you can see the 509 description, when you click on Nov 20th and THEN on Dec 25th you can see the 508 description...
But when you reload the page and only click on Dec 25th there is no description at all (just the title "A Heartland Christmas").
Maybe this helps to understand what's going on, BW ;-)

No need to post this BW. Just wanted you to get this. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but now on every screen on the Heartland CBC site, there is a BIG banner to switch to the mobile version. I heard that there would be a mobile version, but the banner to switch is very big and a distraction to the site.....you have to click the close button to get to see what is hidden beneath the 'switch' banner.
Just wanted you to know, and hopefully the banner and link to switch to the mobile version of the page will be made a bit smaller and less invasive that it currenty is.
[Blog Whisperer: I'm going to post this so other people can see it was well - hope you don't mind Frisco! Anyhow, I've seen it - we're trying to figure out where this came from - it's not supposed to be there, so it might be a CBC.ca thing that's broken.]

I was born in Montana & wish I could live there now. Love the Mountains, love the horses and love the cleanness of the show. It reminds me of the western and horse shows I grew up loving. Sky King, My friend Flicka, Fury, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, Spin & Marty, Hop-A-Long Cassidy. Boy........that one is telling my age.

The "Blooper" segment of the Season 4 DVD is awesome! Love the part where Ty and Amy are upstaged by a nuzzling horse (Spartan?) in the barn! Also when Amy is in her room in the dark, breaks something on her dresser by mistake, and starts to swear (but stops short just in the nick of time!) In both cases we get to see Graham and Amber as their real and obviously fun selves! And talk about acting discipline and skill, the blooper scene where Spartan is coughing, and interrupts what seems to be that episode-ending scene where Amy is on Spartan and crying after she and Ty break-up (only temporarily thank goodness!), and Amber is still able to re-center and pull-off such an emotional scene so beautifully and convincingly?...That, is amazing. The entire Bonus Features section of the DVD is fantastic.

One more thing about the Bonus Features section of the Season 4 DVD: it's more comprehensive with even more good stuff in it than with the previous seasons' DVDs. Thanks producers! Heartland lovers, don't miss out on this. My only "slight" disappointment is that I wish there was maybe a little more of Chris and Amber on it (and Jessica Steen and Wanda), but for Ty/Graham admirers, Graham has some really interesting and insightful comments about how he approaches his role, and his acting philosophy in general, as do Cindy Busby, Nathaniel Arcand, and others. It's so cool to get "into their heads" a little bit and learn how they approach their craft/art. I could go on! Suffice it to say that I give the Season 4 DVD 5 stars out of 5! Maybe 10 out of 5!
