Ok! I am really excited about this episode,so much changes! But hopefull that Ty and Amy get back together!

I saw something the other day that made me think of you. It said that young people these days will be going into post secondary ed. preparing for jobs that don't exist yet. I thought "that's BW job!" There was no such thing as a BW 10-15 years ago! So here's to jobs that don't exist yet, I for one am happy your job was created! Have a great day!

SO excited for this episode!!! I LOVE Heartland!!

The new season so far has been absolutely amazing! But one thing I have noticed is that the episodes are not horse focused anymore. I know that the characters and the plot of the story is very important and I do LOVE heartland, but I miss the episodes that revolve around the horses.

BW: Will there be any episodes coming up in the season that are more "horsie" focused?

definatley looking forward to seeing this episode, i hope Peter is happy with the news of becoming a dad, and i hope chase doesnt do too much and make things really awkward between amy and Ty, because then it will just make things harder to sort out, and i really want to see them back together, and hopefully Tim will end up keeping Dexter :) also cant wait to find out what Lou has planned for the baby's nursery :)

I'm really really excited about the episode! Ty and Amy should not have cooled it between them. SO SAD!!! UG I can't stand that chase. And Poor Mallory that was jerkie of Tim to say that to her in that last episdoe(Mood SwingS) Cool pictures!!!!

Sounds like another great episode. I'm happy the way this season is going. I believe that things will work out with Ty and Amy b/c every relationship needs a bit of a shake up and some time to discover oneself along the way. The actor's have really improved - showing the characters growth and maturity (all the actors but especialy Graham).

I like that Lou is pregnant (though I am not fond of her husband). This storyline is looking upwards. I am still curious as to what is going on in their relationship - though I do have some iteas and some understanding of why Lou is at home intead of overseas.

I am looking forward to seeing Jack, Tim, and Mallory storylines as well. Also, Calab and Ashley storyline is looking better (though I'm not pleased that the marriage shows how good things are cause marriages at a young age do have serious difficulites that are not entirely shown; everyone has financial trouble when first married; maybe in a year or two we will see the seriousness of them marrying early. You can't base a marriage on "love." it is a misconception as people can see by the number of divorces).

Can't wait for Sunday; the best day of the week.

I can't wait for the next few episodes! Great picture selections BW, I'm really curious about the scene with Ty in the barn. He does not look like a happy camper!

I was clinically depressed after last weeks episode. Honestly, I moped around for the rest of the night, nearly threw my framed picture of me, Graham, Amber, and Chris through my window. And then school the next day was terrible, because I couldn't stop thinking about how much Amy and Ty need each other. I really hope that they get back together in this episode, even though I know that's not likely. However, considering how upset they BOTH are about the break-up, they may get back together sooner then we think! I want to thank BW for taking such good care of us Heartland fans, especially since we were all so upset after last week. One thing I didn't say last time I commented is that I hope you have a wonderful New Year, BW!

This claiming race business is going to be troublesome. I can't see a way for Amy to 'save' this horse from being claimed, since rules (from what I can tell) prohibit family members from claiming a horse from the owner.

Lisa's probably off in France, otherwise I'm sure she'd snap up Dexter in a heartbeat.

Dan Hartfield might have an interest for all his bluster about Dexter being more trouble than he's worth...

I'm hoping we can finally have some resolution to the Lou and Peter debacle. Lou's initial departure from Dubai had nothing to do with being pregnant. If she really feels like she 'lost' instead of 'gained' by marrying Peter (and if it's not just the hormones talking) then she needs to hash it out with Peter. Someone once said you can't wait for the sacrifice of the other person... As to who ought to be doing the sacrificing is up in the air, since I don't see an easy compromise with these two.

While I really do hope Ty and Amy get back together (as I'm expecting them too :P I hope it's a really creative and sweet/romantic way they get back together. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll do that), I am really hoping that Peter and Lou break up. It's not like there is a relationship TO break up; they never see each other, they barely speak...what's the point exactly?
I want her to be with Scott like in Season 1 and part of Season 2(And the books too); he really loves her and cares about her a lot. They click better than Peter and Lou, and Scott also didn't ask her to move all the way to the other side of the world for him...for him to never be there that is. I hope this is a pregnancy scare like last time; Lou and Peter will have a LOT of trouble with that (which I'm sure Mallory would enjoy immensely by watching them suffer).
I can't wait to see Caleb/Ashley's wedding, it's going to be so exciting! :D I love those two together, they're perfect!
Chase is going to be fun...unlike Blaire I actually like him. He's funny and charming, even if he does cause trouble :P

Not many people will agree with me but I kinda like the character of chase because he makes Ty and amy's relationship fun. It's fun seeing Ty jealous you know?haha but Ty and Amy are the best couple and while it's an interesting change in their relationship status I can't see them apart for to long and will be very happy when they reunite

I couldn't care less if Amy and Ty get back together...they both have a lot of growing up to do. They seem like they are always fighting, and Amy acts like an annoying little kid. I am very interested in all the other storylines.

So BW - I posted on Facebook quite a while ago (about 3-ish weeks) asking how to contact you with an idea and have finally gotten around to actually doing something about it :P

So, I noticed on the community section of this page a few months back the idea for a forum-based Role Play loosely based on the show. Long story short; I thought it was a great idea, signed up instantly, and found that nobody goes on the site anymore.. So I decided to make my own. It has enjoyed limited success, but is still not living up to it's full potential. For that to happen, I feel that it needs more people. We currently have 6, but are looking for a crowd of around 35-40 or even more (if we can manage!)

We made the decision to ask for your help because you are recognized everywhere as the leader in Heartland-Related topics, and with even a single mention in a Thursday "general information" post would probably quadruple our member base.

so what if Ty was attracted to another girl? being in a relationship doesn't stop you from feeling attracted to other people...in the end, he didn't act on it, which is the most important thing...maybe Amy's looking for a way out so she can get together with Chase....also, Lou should divorce Peter...in this day and age, it's not reasonable for a man to ask his wife to move around the world, away from her family and then not spend any time with her....he's totally selfish...it will be interesting to see where all of this goes....keep us all on our toes

I'm still miserable about Amy and Ty breaking up. Although i'm thrilled about Lou. I knew she was pregnant from the second i saw Marnie. Because on Heartland, Marnie is a sign of possible pregnancy. She was there last season when Lou thought she was preggers. So obviously, Marnie is a catalyst of sorts. Ty, move back in already. Stop being an idiot. We all know you'll get back to together with Amy in the end so why wait? And Mallory. Why does everyone go to work at Maggie's when they hit rock bottom? So weird.... ;-)

I have the feeling that Amy and Ty won't get back together so soon, it might take time because Amy is very stubborn and they are both deeply hurt. So they need time, they need good advices and they need Mrs Bell. I think she is the one who could calm the situation down.

This episode was so unpredictable, I enjoyed it very much so will see what is going to happen next...

my family LOVES Heartland! My 4 yr old son is obsessed with ''the horsey show''....he near drove me crazy over the holidays when it wasn't on.. if he misbehaves, i use the show as bribery..lol...he'll do anything to watch Heartland...and myself and my husband enjoy it too...its an awesome family show!! can't wait for tonights episode!! :)

Just saw today's episode, And I have to say im pretty disappointed (maybe im just to involved in the story) It was very good, but just disappointed. The show is mainly about the Amy & Ty relationship (at least to me it is) And for once, I thought I was watching a show that was past all the Hollywood crap (Chase/Blair).... I know they will get back together, just wish it could stay happy and simple you know, that's what makes this show so great. I find it very frustrating.....
Oh well, all I can do is hope that next week it starts to sort its self out. You know, you know, this tv show, its a place that you or anyone could go to to forget about all the crap that goes on in this world, in 28, im recovering from a major stroke, im looking for things to take me out side of my body and mind, its nice for a change.... Anyways Keep up the good work, look forward to next week

i liked that episode but it seems that the episodes lately havent been very light hearted and happy. although in pretty much every episode i find something to laugh at, sometimes i laugh at the weirdest things. anyways i thought it was so sad at the part when mallory and jack were talking at maggies. and amy and ty didnt get back together, but i know that they will eventually(at least i can hope) but it makes me so mad when amy and ty talk about the whole lying about blair and then ty talks about chase and then amys like dont turn this on me. its like oh my goodness get over it, we all make mistakes!

Really enjoyed this episode!!Loved it when Ty kicked Chases butt in pool! It was nice to see Amy and Ty talking at least but of course she had to bring up the Blair thing while Ty was trying to patch things up. Well atleast we know he wants too. Still there was nothing really to do with healing horses. And still no Scott! Do we get to see him again before the season ends? Well I really hope Ty and and Amy are going to be together for Calen and Ashley's wedding that would be so sweet!

Am a former outrider and hired hand in the CPCA and as much as i enhjoy the show i did not like the way the chuckwagons were portrayed. The horses are very well taken care of starting with giving them a season or two off so that old injuries can heal and mend. We did anything and everything possible to make sure the horses were healthy and happy at all times

Let's consider the current situation:

1. Amy has treated Ty really (really!) badly. She has made it clear that she neither respects or trusts him. There is no love there. Ty has done EVERYTHING to try and reassure Amy. Nothing works. Further, Amy has utterly failed to take responsibility for her flirtation/affair with Chase. Her righteous accusations against Ty are awash in hypocrisy. Ty really must put Amy behind him and move forward with his life. He's a great guy and deserves much better.

2. Ty was lead to believe that he was part of the Bartlett/Flemming family. But what happens when when a jealous stranger shows up with unfounded accusations against Ty? Well, Jack, Tim, and Amy all believe the stranger and confront, accuse, and alienate Ty. In particular, it was shocking to see how little trust Jack had in Ty. The myth that Ty was something like a son or grandson to Jack just vanished.

3. Malorie was also lead to believe that she was part of the family. Well that went down in flames when she made a mistake and let the "bad guys" go. Reminder: she did that by mistake because she was being ignored and neglected at the time. Now Jack and Tim are treating her with contempt; Jack, unable to see his own responsibility, barked at Malorie that she disobeyed a "direct order" (Jack's words). News flash for Jack: she is a child, this is not the military, you do not issue orders. Malorie really must move back in with her parents or she is at serious risk of losing her way.

Overall, the Heartland story has a lot of potential, but it is seriously bogged down with mean-spirited negativity. I grow tired of watching people who are suppose to love each other constantly fight and bicker. Whatever happened to healing horses, healing hearts? Time for a fresh start in 2011.

Bw I have a few questions I would like to ask. :) first one is how long does it take for all the comments to get on the blog? Because I posted a few comments a few days ago (I think) and they still haven't come up yet. And also when will I be able to buy season 2 and watch season 3? Thanks! :)

For information about DVD releases and when Season 3 is being aired, I would recommend that you contact the broadcaster (E4) directly - it's difficult for me to get up-to-date info on broadcasters in other countries, but they will DEFINITELY be able to answer your questions - then you can come back and share it with the rest of the fans here!]

Glad to see the storyline focused around horses again. Ty gets hotter every episode, Graham is a great actor. Loved the scene in the pool hall with Chase, happy that Ty punched him, he deserved it. Amy is a fool not to for give Ty for Blair kissing him. They have get back together. The friendship between Ty @ Caleb has come along way from Season 2, love it. Happy to see Spartan again he is a beautiful horse. Please bring Joanne from the Christmas Movie to Heartland for Tim. All the actors @ Crew are doing a Great Job with Heartland as always. Forever Heartland....

Malorie is the BEST character in the show. But she needs to be treated better. She never gets hugged, and now the adults are being really mean to her. That's no way to treat a young kid.

so a few things to say about yestuirdays episode!
i find this is a good place to vent out all my frusterati8ons abotu the show!

am on tys side completly on this. in all the seasons i ave felt like ty was more into the relationship than Amy was.i find amy a little bit selfish right now. Ty has alwasy said things to try to make her understand she is the only one he wants...hes always encouraging her, telling her sweet things and doing sweet things. whereas Amy has never really done anothing for Ty if you think about it. i mean ty got her the ring, learned to dance for her, bought her apicture of horses, took herto see her moms picture for the ring of fire episode, told her he wanted to start a business together...but Amy doesnt do anything cute exceot for that one time when she chased after ty at the end of season 3. shes starting to annoy me. its all about her right now.

i am also disappointed in Jack. i was hoping for a heartfelt scene between jack and ty you know where jack would say something along the line of, "you can alwasy call ths home...you dont have to move out..."
like seriously where is ty supposed to go? and he needs to move out soon or he will cause problems for ashley and caleb.

Again ty shows to be a good person by giving caleb some of that money he won from pool which as so sweet.

im hoping amy finds out about what ty did for her.,..wanting to buy the horse. i dont get why she was so upset. first she wants to put everything in the past then she doesnt stop pesturing. ehhh she makes me want to scream. ty is trying, calling her, goes to see her, shows he cares about her...and shes alwasy tryig to get into an arguement with him! she makes me soangry lately!

anyways all i hope for now is that they get back together but when they do that amy does something special for him and appologized for over reacting as well. and this time they will stay together and not arue as much but be that couple that they are...like the beginning of last episode when they were so cute and were like "so ashley and caleb are not married?" that was the best!

I love the reset button idea. If you truly love each other, then it shouldn't matter if you fight, because all loving couples fight. It's getting over the fight that shows real commitment. No little thing should be able to come between two people who are in love. But of course that's not how real life works. That's what I love about Heartland. It's real. These things happen. And though Blair wasn't a little thing, there's this phrase that goes 'Forgive and Forget'. Amy's already forgiven him, so why can't she forget? I never thought in a million years that Ashley and Caleb would outlast Amy and Ty. That Lou and Peter would outlast the Golden Couple. Geez, kiss and make up already!!!

Well for Amy and Ty. At least they're talking.
Right now I'm trying to come up with as many ways as I can that they can get back together. Well obviously Caleb and Ashley's wedding is this season, because Graham said so. Maybe Ty will be Caleb's best man and Amy will be Ashley's maid of honour. And then you know how the maid of honour and the best man have the second dance. Maybe that is what will bring them back together.
What other miraculous ideas can I come up with?

BW - I think you need to have Amy want Ty back, but make him pretend to be angry or not interested to pay back for all the times amy was like that. It really isn't fare that Amy gets what she wants and when she wants it, she can't be oh Ty i don't want you now but I will a month from now, and then he is still there for her. She REALLY needs to get a taste of her own medicine.

I was really disappointed by this episode, I sure don't see Amy getting the same treatment as Ty, even though she is guilty of the same thing, I thought Jack said Ty always had a home at heartland. I used to laugh and feel good while watching Heartland now it just makes me feel kinda sad. Hope this changes or you will lose your loyal fans

This week was yet another great episode that had me on the edge of my seat. As much as I wanted to see Ty and Amy get back together I wonder if maybe Jack is going to have some sage advice for them in next weeks episode? Can't wait to find out!

The episode was good. I don't know if amy and ty are going to get back together anymore but i hope they do even though their relationship is so predictable. I think that peter and lou will be ok. It was so sad when Jack found out about Mallory's new job because he looked so sad :(
It seems to be that Jack doesnt look so well. Is he going to have a heart attack or something? Cause that would be so sad cause he is one of my favorite characters in the show. I hope he is okay even though there were signs in the episode that he wasn't. Can't wait for the next episode!

OK, I have a theory. Maybe Jack and Lyndy's rough patch in their marriage was a like what happened to Ty and Amy. Maybe Ty and Amy realize they could have handled it better after hearing the song and live happily ever after ;). Ohhhh I had such a big smile on my face when Tim said "Family comes first." Yay, finally :) So it will be interesting if the relationship with Janice will work out for a longer time. In my opinion there already is a distance but I will wait and see what the writers make out of it. I am still thinking with Tim becoming a family man and a grandpa soon she is not the right woman for him.

I totally agree with Jake and Lee, couldn't have said it better myself. I find amy just..unrealistic. She's very hypocritical and always acts like the victims, never admitting that she might be in the wrong. Ty deserves soo much better! If i was a guy i so wouldn't waste my time on her. I agree with what someone else said too ( sorry can't remember your name) she deserves a taste of her own medicine. See how she'd like it if people pouted at you and stalked out of every conversation all the time.

So just wanted to say that I love that some of the clothes that the actors are wearing are from American Eagle Outfitters like Amy's dress in the next episode and Mallory's shirt in the beginning of episode 409... Its so nice to see that some of the clothes they wear are affordable and sometimes the same that we have. And the only reason I know its from American Eagle is because I work there and not because im just stalking what they wear

I meant to write this two episodes ago: good riddance I say!! Amy is starting to get on my nerves. Has anyone else noticed that her favorite sentence is "that's not fair" every time she's caught red-handed (or Ty holds up "the mirror"). Ty is always the bad guy, but she's always supposed to be excused !? Move on Ty.
A few other odd and ends - the Christmas movie is suppose to be "timeless". Peter is still in the picture, but in Dubai, they don't have a baby, Ty and Amy are still together, Caleb and Ash are still living in the trailer... Hum, how will that look next year if say: Lou has the baby and Peter sells the company to move to Hudson... ?
I also found the movie a bit sombre - with everyone arguing, screaming, shooting at each other. It did have a nice ending and a positive message, after a depressing 1.5 hr... Not sure it will (should) become a holiday tradition.

Anyone who would stop watching the show if Amy & Ty don't get back together would be missing so much. (The roots are there, they will find their way back together & grow in the process.) This episode was outstanding! I don't know if it was just luck or planning around the weather, but the atmosphere with the clouds and cool dampmess was perfect. Speaking of perfect, the scenes between Jack & Malory (at Maggie's), Jack and Lou, Lou and Peter, Ty & Caleb, Ty & Amy (barn), Tim & Amy, Janic & Jack, were right on. Sometimes I am in awe of how good these actors are in their roles. Graham as Ty is continually most impressive! I think he continues to mature and expand his range as an actor. He and the camera just belong together - it loves him. In the scene between Ty and Amy in the barn, when he comes to tell her about Dexter,Graham, with his voice, eyes, and body, conveys the love, loss, struggle, hurt, frustration all in a few moments. He embodies Ty. I am amazed! This on top of the end scene, with him just standing and showing it all in his face and eyes AND last weeks performace. Well done Graham! If he does not win some awards in recognition of his acting this season, it will be ridiculous. He, as well as the rest of the cast as and group deserve recognition. Congradulations Heartland cast, writers and crew on another great episode!

And I know that obviously the real actors in Heartland don't do all of the things that are shown with the horses. So I was wondering if you know anything about the people that ride for them. Like how they got started. Cause I really have no clue lol. I don't even know if you have to go to school. So basically, if you can, it would be awesome if you could tell me a bit of information on the stunt riders of Heartland. Thanks!:)

I completely disagree with Jake, Lee,and Rachel. Sure Ty was like a grandson or son to Jack, but Amy is his grandaughter. He loves her, and he is trying to protect her. Also, Mallory wasn't lead to believe that because she lived there so she was part kind of was part of the family.
Amy and Ty are both at fault so you can't say Ty tried everything and Amy isn't taking responsibility about her kiss with Chase Powers. From what I recall, she told Ty about the kiss, and Ty didn't tell Amy about his kiss with Blair until she found out when Grant came over. She's upset because in season three when the truck broke down, he gave her a promise ring. She's just upset. I don't feel she is being unrealistic or hypocritical, and the writers obviously don't. That's just Amy. That's the way she's always been! Everyone is just growing up and figuring out what's going to happen next. Amy didn't take responsibility for when Chase wanted to buy Dexter for her, but Dexter ended up not going to the claiming race so it wasn't a huge problem.
They still do heal horse like with Lightning Dexter.
Well now that I've ranted on about my opinion. The episode was amazing, and I can't wait to see what happens this week! Is it Sunday yet? ~ Cassidy :)

watching the end of the episode I was thinking that maybe amy will understand Ty's side if soraya finds out about the amy/chase kiss. Amy will understand why "lying" (not telling all that happens to avoid hurting someone) let's face it, she is doing the same with soraya by not telling her about the kiss.
I really didn't like amy in this episode, Ty is too much for her.

I actually liked this episode, although I sure hope Ty does not throw away his education due to his concern over Amy.

I am grateful that Lou and Peter are willing to work things out - respecting each other and how having a family is going to be give and take, but together :)

I am also grateful that Tim is standing for his family rather than his ego. He is softening a bit and really becoming a likable guy.

Wish Mallory could be complete in who she is rather than depending on the Bartlett family to make her whole. She is so intelligent and capable. I hope she has a change of heart.

Like Mallory, I wish things were as they used to be - more light hearted and fun. Yet, I also hear the wisdom of Jack in that things change. Life is always changing. It is we who must stay solid in who we are even if our life situations change.

I hope Amy becomes a bit more reasonable about situations in life and learning to forgive. I hope she matures and sees that growing up takes courage and standing in truth versus in one's emotions.

I am still so grateful for this show. It is my deepest wish to have a ranch similar to Heartland in the near future.

Horses are special, they deserve on the credit and respect we can give them, including air time on Heartland :)

Ok not happy that amy and ty are broken up:( come from scotland and they the reason I watch the show. O well I hope they get back together soon.

I never liked Amy but this is to much. it must take a very good actor to play a Character that makes me have to take my blood pressure meds before i watch the show. i thought the ending was perfect when she takes dexter over the jumps and knows that its a empty victory,and if Ty had been smiling in that last part it would have been perfect,i hope he can do better.

Ok so this episode was a little boring to be honest... I didn't like it that much. Amy and Ty should get over eachother because I hate how all the focus always goes between them. Even if there is a horse part of the show, it always seems to be a little detail. Isn't heartland supposed to be about horses? Sure doesn't look like. I'm extremely disapointed so far. Ty shouldn't drop all his education. For once, (I never thought I'd say this..) I can't wait for Ty to 'hopefully' leave for university... all this soap opera drama is killing me. Ugh well thats all I have to say :P

I Liked this episode it wasn't as good as the last one but was still good. I really want Lou to get back together with Scott so I'm hoping that her and Peter will break up. So excited for Ashley and Calebs wedding. I don't get Amy at all... Ty is clearly trying to apolgize and she won't hear it!!! I hope Ty Doesn't waste his Education because of Amy. I personally think it will be another episode or two before they get back together... In fact my theory is that they will get back together in the Episode entitled the Road Home because Ty Said earlier this season that while he was gone he thought of Heartland as home. Anyway thats just my thoughts :)

I hope Amy can forgive Ty because she did the same thing by kissing Chase. Heartland is the best TV show ever made, and to 'bronc buster' the movie was amazing, and so is the show. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

WOW! Why do Ty and Caleb have bandaids all over thir faces? What did Ashley beat them up? And I have ea new theory, well not really a theory just a guess-I think that Amy and Ty are going to get back together in "The Road Home" or whatever its called.

I really want Amy and Ty to get back together the show isnt the same without them together and happy. I really hope Amy will forgive and turst that Ty is telling the truth about what happened between him and blare, because she did the same thing with chase and if she can't believe him then thats really disapionting. I really wish I lived in Toronto so I could go to the signing this saturday but living on the other side of the country I dont get over their verry much :(... it would great to meet Amber and Graham!!!! :)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Heartland. The actors are awesome (I get teary-eyed at almost every episode), the soundtrack selection is wonderful (discovered and saw Jenn Grant, Justin Nozuka, Matthew Barber, Catherine Maclellan live in the last couple of years, and more than once each), the editing is perfect (the Backroom Hustlers' song lyrics timing during the pool game!!)
But I agree with Dirge, Hayla and Ashley, the soap opera drama is getting a bit repetitive...

I wish Amy would trust Ty a little more! I legit wanted to jump into the screen and tell Amy that she's being a dork!
