Before I tell you a bit about this Sunday's episode I better break the news that there will be no new episodes of Heartland during the month of February. What!!! Why??? you ask (yes, I can hear the screaming through your computer...) Click through to find out!
First, we never run a new episode against the Super Bowl, which is on February 7, and for the following three Sundays there is a little event going on called the Vancouver Winter Olympics, which it would be unwise to run new episodes of any show against.
But don't leave me all alone here! Throughout February I will have a few special things for you here on the blog, that I hope will at least partially make up for the break!
After that, there will be four new episodes of Heartland in March - the last four which will conclude Season 3 - beginning March 7 and continuing through March 28. So mark your calendar!
And that is going to have to tide everyone over until Season 4 premieres in the fall. Yes, the rumours are true - there is going to be a Season 4, which will begin filming in the spring.
And now a little about this Sunday's episode. Titled "The Happy List", it was written by Heather Conkie and directed by - wait for it - Chris Potter! That's right. You will not see Tim in this episode but Chris was behind the cameras the entire time directing this episode of Heartland.
In it, Ty purchases a vintage Norton motorcycle - with Jack's endorsement - while Caleb goes off to a rodeo in Montana despite Ashley's growing concerns about his life on the circuit. Lou is obsessive in her attempt to out-do Peter's first wedding, which causes some serious second thoughts about their engagement.
Also, Val decides to return to show jumping and enlists Amy's help, while Mallory learns that Jake has not exactly been pining away while she has been ignoring him.
It's the last new episode of Heartland you are going to get to see before March, so make sure you don't miss it!
