Well, the cast and crew has survived the weird summer weather of the past three weeks and today they finish filming the last scenes for episodes 307 and 308. A tough shoot at times, but boy are these two episodes going to be exciting. And it doesn't stop! Click through for more...
Tomorrow filming begins for episodes 309 and 310 - two one-hour episodes that are going to take the cast to locations where they have never shot before and will once again include animals that we are using for the first time on Heartland. Sorry everyone - that's all I can reveal at the moment.
If you are keeping track, our weekly countdown to the OCTOBER 4 premiere of Season 3 has us down to 52 days.
This brings us to this week's rerun - a repeat performance of Episode 214, "Do or Die" - written by Mark Haroun and directed by TW Peacocke, this is the episode that brings two tough kids on probation to Heartland, forcing Ty to deal with a part of his past he'd rather forget. The two kids, Tara and Badger, played by Kristin Fairlie and Jack Knight (pictured above), add some moments of anxiety to the ranch and Tara certainly leads Mallory down an interesting fashion path.
Check it out this Sunday at 7:00pm.

Oh, wow. Animals they've never used before? Locations never shot before? What are we talking here... extreme wilderness where there's moose, deer, coyotes, bears and wolves, or something a little more urban like the Calgary Zoo with pandas, koalas, giraffes and elephants?
I hate spoilers, but I love speculating!
I'm sure cast and crew are praying for the weather to start behaving, since it's been so unpredictable.
Is it October, yet?

Oh ho ho, more hints!! When you think about it though, lots of Canadian animals haven't appeared yet in this show. Haven't seen any bears, wolves, or cougars yet, have we? Or elk? Or even bunnies? So I guess it could be just about anything! My guess would definitely be for a guest appearance of a Big-Foot. Ya never know, I mean, we've had knights, St. Bernards and goths, so why not? .... okay, many reasons, but stiiiiiiilll...

All I know, is that they are including a cougar.

Ooh!! Sounds very intruging, and very exciting!! I bet they are probably going to use a cougar, cause that's what we have in Alberta (well mostly in the mountains and forests), but I bet they will probably use bears, and moose....Alberta wildlife.... I'm excited for the premiere!
@Laura Lindsay I don't think they would let you know where they are filming this week, but I do know that they film in Millarville, and High River. If you go onto the iLoveHeartland website, there's a girl called KristenAlicia and she went to the Heartland set (or saw it from a distance). You can contact her and find out how to see the set from a distance at least :)

Hey do any of you know what song is played at the end of the episode when Badger's talking to Tara and Amy and Ty are in the loft? I love it but can't find the song name. (this episode is so funny, sparking Mallory's 'goth faze', ugh! totally wish that Ty and Amy could just get back together now!) :) can't wait for Season 3! Only 46 more days!

We need more Tim! Chris Potter is waaaay underutilized on the show. It would be great if there was more family interaction...showing Tim grow his relationships with his daughters, etc. More background on what went on between Tim and Marion and why he left...there seems to be some secret or something about all that.
