This Sunday on an all new Heartland...
The Winter landscapes can be spectacular in Canada, but in this Sunday's penultimate episode of Canada's favourite family hour ‑ entitled "Full Circle," the drama in the foreground is what captivates, as it heats up on several fronts. Click through for more!
In order to rebuild the trust between herself and Spartan, Amy takes her horse to a world‑famous First Nations "horse whisperer" named Victor Whitetail (Ben Cardinal) who her mother called a miracle worker. Victor's methodology is unorthodox, to say the least, and Amy learns a few new things ‑ including how to swing a golf club!
As for Ty, he is facing his own frustrations as he tries to break his new colt, Harley. In the process he learns a few lessons about horses and about himself.
Meanwhile the ever‑secretive Lou finds time to be alone with Peter (Gabriel Hogan) as their relationship continues to develop.
It's a solid hour of fun and drama, with a sprinkle of golf swings, mysticism and a very friendly Saint Bernard.
Here are a few photographs that do not give too much away.
As always, we hope you watch and enjoy "Full Circle" on Sunday at 7:00pm (7:30 in Newfoundland). Be sure to come back and comment on what you thought of our second to last episode of season two!

Wait...golf? Did I just read--see--golf??.... awesome!! I love the twists in this show! I mean, did anybody, ANYBODY, see that happening? (I mean, aside from those with super powers like TC). Must say, I'm really looking forward to this episode. That's nothing new. But the episode will be, and I can't wait to see its twists and turns in coming to a "full circle"! Will Peter win Lou over even more? Will the indian guy hit Amy with that golf club? How did Spartan lose his trust in her, and why did she decide to get help? Will MIA Jake reapear? Will we hear from Caleb? Why does Lou look sad? Perhaps most importantly... will Ty and Kit break up?
PS to TC: What do you mean, LOST is crazy? I mean, everything's perfectly normal: everyone's time travelling, wearing ugly jumpsuits, losing children and blowing up trees. Ok....maybe it has gone a little insane. But hey, that's Lost, right? It was insane from the beginning: smoke monsters, polar bears, (need I go on?)... You just have to ride with it and keep up that all-important suspension of disbelief. So, what makes NCIS (NCSI?) jump out at you? What's it about?

It also says that Ty, he is facing his own frustrations as he tries to break his new colt, Harley. In the process he learns a few lessons about horses and about himself.

Looks very very very interesting!!! I can't believe Ty actually bought a colt!!!! In the interviews Ty looks like he is having some rough times with Kit!!!!!!! He doesn't want to be friends with Amy anymore? Because he said on the preview that "this friends thing isn't working out"!!!! They are like best friends. But Ty should be mad at Amy because she almost got him in jail. Is Caleb actually gone for the rest of the season or forever!!!! Loooks like a SUPER episode

All in all it looks like it's going to be another amazing episode. Season two has been great so far and the scenery definitely put Canada on the map for me as a dream destination. I really enjoy the show, but I can't help noticing continuity issues that keep coming up.
For instance, in this episode, when Ty was going to get on Harley the second time, the horse was shown in a leather bridle. Ty was then shown grasping cotton reins and Harley was in a halter. Then, when he was on the horse, the horse was back in a bridle. Also, when Amy was jumping Spartan, the horse was jumping in a pelham bit, but was then shown with a snaffle bit in the next shot.
I'm sure only people who are familiar with horses, as I am, would notice things like this, but I watch this show because I love horses!
There have been at least two other episodes where I have noticed continuity mistakes like the ones above. Maybe someone should check these things?

Ok so I just watched the show and was like jumping when Ty broke up with Kit! But then Amy at the end... Ty totally wanted for them to get back together and she gave this totally weird response that made no sense. WHAT WAS THAT? I don't understand, what was she even trying to say? I understand that things inside of her shifted but I don't get her response to TY. Come on writers, we want them back together, not for Amy to drift away once they finally get their chance! Anyone else in agreement?

I can't believe Ty is sick in the next episode..... If You've read books number 13 and 14, it might be like that. if something happens to him i will stop watching the show cause it would be pointless without him, and even if it was Amy, Lou or Jack it would be pointless.... otherwise this episode was really good, i loved Victor's methods of getting to Spartan, that was really great. This was a really good episode. I think it was Sue who mentioned in a different blog that Amy needs to mourn the passing of her mom. This was a good step in that direction. I so loved the music. Can someone make sure you keep the same people picking the music, cause it is so good. And we get to see Alberta in the winter - how pretty! She wasn't in it much, but Tatiana Maslany was really great in her scenes with Ty, who I have to say seemed kind of lame in the way he handled Kit. She deserved so much better than what she got from Ty.
Remeber Lisa Stillman's nephew Ben from season one? He vanished, never to be heard from again. I don't think the same will happen to Caleb or else they wouldn't have had that "I'll see you around," "Yes you will" exchange with Amy at the start of the show tonight - at least I hope he's coming back. Otherwise Ashley will e crushed. But that's not my point. I do hope Kit returns - not to get involved with Ty or anything - I just really liked her character and her attitude.
And please give Mallory more to do - she is so funny and so good.
Yay - we are back to dealing with horses again. Way to go to everybody making this show. Heartland rocks. One last episode next week. Tick... tick... tick... tick... I can't w8!!!!!

Oh wow, I just finished this episode, and WOW! This episode was amazing for three reasons:
1. We're one step closer to Ty and Amy being a couple again. Kit can go sulk in a hole, for all I care. She was too possesive, anyways... Ty and Amy have such great chemistry, as do, obviously, Amber and Graham. Great job to those two!
2. I enjoyed this adaptation on _________, I really commend the screenwriters for putting together a powerful script that really shows Amy growing as a person
3. Although Scott was great for Lou, I really like Peter. Max was adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, too much snow... living in good ol' MB, the snow was a bit of a retcon to the horrible winter we had...
So, next week is the season finale... should be interesting... omg, Ty... I'm almost dreading it...

TC wasn't especially impressed with Full Circle, written by Penny Gummerson, but that's not really terribly concerning. I mean, it would be nice if every single Heartland episode could be above par, but we all know we can't always get what we want. Everyone seemed to be just going through the motions in a rather predictable fashion with zero surprises along the way. Now, Penny Gummerson is Métis, so I have to assume she knows exactly what she's talking about when the various references to Native spirituality are made throughout the episode. I just wish that the application of those sacred beliefs didn't come across as being so terribly clichéd.
Okay. Coles' Notes version of 'Full Circle', complete with numerous snarky an entirely inappropriate comments that I hope no one takes seriously:
1.) Spartan refuses to jump. Amy's tried everything she can think of, but no such luck. She believes that the poor horse's experience with Wes must have messed with him quite a bit. She tries a last-ditch attempt when she finds out about Victor (Authentic Native Guy!) a horse healer who had a past with Marion. (There's always a 'past', isn't there?) Jack reluctantly agrees to take Amy and Spartan to work with the horse healer for the weekend. That was really the only interesting part: What's Jack got against Victor the-Authentic Native Guy? Hmm... Maybe we'll get hints about that relationship next season.
2.) Ty tries to break in Harley. Ty tries to gently break up with Kit. He's not that successful with either.
3.) Lou and Precious Pete get some 'alone time' when she discovers he is the 'client' that's booked all the cabins at the 'Dude Ranch' during her newfangled 'Heartland Winter Wonderland' promotion. Some ridiculous misunderstandings ensue when she's privy to one side of a telephone conversation he has while they're warming themselves by the fire. (Telephone Cliché count: 1). Lou can be rather dense, sometimes. But I suppose after her experience with Macho Mountie, she's ready to believe all men are swine. Swine, I tell you! But calm yourselves, Heartland fans. Lou and Peter aren't ready to call it a day, yet. Turns out the phone call that interrupted their little romantic interlude was not from Peter's wife (so you're not Peter's mistress, Lou), and 'Max' is not Peter's son. He's a rather excitable St. Bernard. Relationship disaster averted.
4.) Amy has a 'mystical experience' of sorts on the mountain top with the help of Victor the (Authentic Native Guy's) wisdom and beliefs. How very North of 60 of them. Here in Canada, you see, anytime we lose our way, the Medicine Wheel cures all that ails us. (We just have to seek out our own authentic Native Guy). Turns out Marion the Warrior Woman had come to Victor (did I mention he's an Authentic Native Guy?) seeking advice after she split with Tim, because she was apprehensive about how she'd manage to cope being a single mother of 2 young girls.
5.) Ty's break-up with Kit is an epic failure as the poor girl leaves utterly devastated. But he does manage to break in Harley.
6.) Amy realises she's the one who needed fixing; not Spartan. And just like that, in 2 days, she's confident enough not to even hold the reins as Spartan magically makes it over the jumps. She thanks Victor (yeah, you all know what he is by now) for all his help, but he claims he really didn't do anything. O, wise one, we are in awe of your humility!
7.) Ty arrives to pick up Amy and Spartan at the end of the weekend, all ready to profess his undying love for her, because the whole 'friendship thing' isn't really working out for him. But because she's fresh off her mystical experience and undergoing some shifts inside herself, Amy doesn't quite 'get' what the lovelorn boy is trying to say. She does admit that he's a big part of her heart (slightly improbable dialogue if it's not going to be followed up with an "I love you", since guys don't generally go for mushy)... but maybe next time, Ty! Keep holding on to your feelings. Once things settle after the 'shifts' Amy's experiencing, maybe she'll also settle to the idea that you would both make a very cute couple.
So this time around, it was Amy who needed the healing, so for that point, Penny Gummerson does deserve some credit.
Now. We had a lot of no-shows this episode:
No Scott, but then we're sort of getting used to that. Once again, I guess he's still not allowed to share screen time with Precious Pete, or with another authentic Native Guy. Poor Scott. Always getting the short end of the golf club.
No Ashley, though we did see the O'Dell-less O'Dell/Stanton trailer.
No Caleb. This one's a no-brainer since we know he's on the pro-rodeo circuit.
No Val, so no follow-up as yet on what her medical problems might be.
No Lisa. Breeding those thoroughbreds is quite obviously a rather time-consuming activity. I guess she could be doing anything, really, like I dunno... co-piloting a space shuttle to an asteroid, or something.
Wait a minute... just how authentic is a Native Guy who golfs?!.
Okay. Next episode: Ty's sick? Uh-oh. I pick...pneumonia. That's about all I managed to get from the haphazard preview of the... la-...the las... (Ahem) The...last...episode...of...the...season. (sigh). Just what are we supposed to do on Sundays at 7pm after next week, huh, CBC? Dear, dear. And to rub salt in our wounds, I'll just bet they make it a killer cliffhanger, too. The meanies.
And that's all for now from TC, Authentic Heartland Blogger.

“Full Circle” will be one of the more calming emotional deep and just strange episodes oh Heartland, Season 2. Wasn’t exactly my favorite.
[If you all know what I mean?]
So here are my thoughts on the 2nd last final episode of Heartland, Season 2.
Amy is having issues with Spartan and Ty has his own struggles with Harley and Kit. Ty believes that there is something going on with Amy, who insists that it’s not her that Wes messed up Spartan and she makes it seem like it was Ty’s fault because he was sleeping when Spartan was stolen. So Amy & Ty are already on a bad note.
In order to help Spartan Amy decides to journey to see Victor Whitetail, who I have now nicknamed Vic. [Miracle Worker].
While Ty is trying to break Harley all by himself to impress Amy and to accomplish breaking in his first horse.
Amy leaves to see Vic while saying good-bye Mallory informs her that Ty is busy so he won’t say good-bye. Yeah right Ty, of course as soon as they start to drive-off Ty appears out of the barn with a funny expression on his face…longing maybe?
Lou has launched a winter campaign for Heartland and receives a booking of all cabins from cooperation. Of course this cooperation happens to be none other than “Precious Pete’s”. Lou is still trying to hide Peter from her family…why is she? Honestly Lou…the longer you put things off the harder it gets to face them.
Lou finds out that Peter was married before but never should have gotten married to the woman, and that Max is in fact his dog not child. Disaster avoided. Yes. *fist pump*
Mallory points out that Ty must be happy that Caleb is gone, to which he replies ‘No Tears from this End”. Then she blurts out asking when he will break up with Kit. To Ty’s surprise Mallory drops the obvious hint that she was always a rebound. She then advises Ty to make his move.
Now Amy thinks Victor is a crazy First Nations guy and that his methods are weird, All they do is golf and go on walks.
Victor Whitetail who is a First Nations horse healer teaches Amy a few new things like how to swing a golf club for instance and helps Amy realize it is not Spartan who has issues, that it is Amy. Amy needs to find balance and to let go of all her problems and negativity in order to connect with others, even with horses. He gives Amy a new understanding about her mom the “Courageous Warrior Woman” and herself. Amy is now all spiritual…Oh Joy!
Meanwhile after staring at a picture of Amy on his phone, obviously missing her like he has been all episode, Ty finally tries to softly breaks up with Kit after having enough of her jealousy and realizing that he feels they should be friends instead. While Kit knows it has been Amy all the time and Ty has just been leading her on…. She leaves devastated and hurt.
On a good note Ty manages to break Harley and ride him. =]
Wow…Heartland knocks off Caleb & Kit in just two episodes. They’ll be back we know it.
Great, I need a Part 2, I will be back don't worry!! I must learn to limit my thoughts now...*sigh*

It was refreshing to see so much of the spectacular Alberta winter scenery in this episode. Thank you!
A taste of the native culture made a special impact on Amy and may add a new dimension to her character as she acknowledges her mother in a special way.
It was great to add a dog into the series too. Being a person who appreciates how much animals add to our life...like how Amy, Mallory & Ty grow from having horses a part of their lives...it seems strange that this is the first time we have seen a dog at Heartland. I'm glad Max was a St Bernard since something like a traditional Border Collie would have been too much of a cliché. I hope we see more of Max or at least some other ranch dog.
Please keep giving us this wonderful family entertainment...my whole family has "together time" when we watch this series.

So after a crazy dream Amy has, she knows what she has to do with Spartan. Which is ride him bareback with out the reins. Spartan miraculously goes over the jumps and Amy is pleased.
While riding Spartan over the jumps bareback with no reins. Ty shows up to pick Amy up near the end of the weekend. [Big Shocker there folks!] haha.
So Ty is there instead of Jack because something can’t wait. He is going to confess his love for Amy because being ‘just friends’ is not working out for him…But Amy is all spiritual now so she is going through some shifts on the inside, I believe and doesn’t really comprehend what, as TC commented the lovelorn boy is trying to say… TeeHee. Amy gives Ty some spiritual answer and tells him that he is a HUGE part of her heart but there is not much you can follow that up with...So now lover boy [Ty] is obviously hurt and can’t really believe what just happened.
Next Time Ty! Don’t give up like last time!!!! I promise you she will come around once her ‘shifts’ are over. You guys would make a good couple.
In the end: Amy needed to heal herself, not the horse so Ty was right. The much anticipated break-up of Kit & Ty happened. While Ty tries to confess he love, Amy gives him quite the ‘out-there’ answer. Things kinda seemed very awkward and strained now between Amy & her lover Ty.
I have to say, the strange scenes with the Pinto that Vic was riding were probably my favorite scenes. They were strange and wild, no wonder I liked them....=P
We had many absences in this episode.
-Caleb O’Dell..Duh!
-Ashley Stanton [although we did see her car]
-Lisa Stillman haven’t seen her in a long time…Since Ep.212 i believe...?
-Scott....well Peter was on-screen so that was an obvious
-Val Stanton
Next Weeks: OhMyGod! Ty gets sick…*gasp*I am going to say ‘Dehydration’ because it looks like he collapses. I couldn’t make much out of the preview except the fact that a Rescue Mission turns into a disaster. Great, of course they are going to give a cliffhanger while we wait 5 months ? My TV says “Amy & Ty become stranded at Jack’s fishing cabin in the mountains where they confront their feelings for each-other” so that is all. We are down to the Season Finale *sad sigh*. I guess if we want drama and a bit of horses we will have to turn to Wild Roses, another great CBC show.
There are my thoughts.
Wait!! Waitt…I forgot to mention does anyone notice when Ty is upset or hurt or taken back he blinks a lot. Did anyone catch that??
I happen to catch the strangest things...
Okay that’s all now until March.22nd

This Episode was great.i loved every part of it. I love to part where jack comes and says Ty don't you have work to do Ty says no I'm done. Then jack says to Ty that he broke some horse in my day do you want me to help you. Ty said no it is my first horse i kind want to do it on my own. Then Mallory came to Ty and said you know Ty the hole point is to get Harley to run around in circles. Then Ty said to Mallory, thanks Mallory in a funny voice. Than Mallory said you must be happy that Caleb is gone Ty said no tears form this side. Then Mallory said so when are you going to break up with kit. Ty said what, than Mallory said come on My it is oveous that she is your rebound. So when are you going to make your move. Ty ignores Mallory. I really loved that part. it was funny because Mallory just asked Ty that question thinking that he might tell her.
I didn't really like the part where they are in the house talking about Amy going to see victor and Lou saying tomorrow Amy you can't we have a huge corporate booking. Than Amy says no Lou you have a huge corporate booking i am going to see victor. And Lou said who is going to take my guest on trail rides. Amy said i don't know get Ty and his girlfriend to do it. Lou says to jack Grandpa talk to her. Jack said it might be good for her to get away for a while. Lou said away from what. Ty walked by Lou knows what Jack was talking about know. I also didn't like the part where Amy was living and everyone said goodbye escape for Ty. But there is a reason Ty didn't say goodbye to Amy because at the first of the show she said, well it didn't come out like this well this is what she kind of meant. spartan only got stolen because you were sleeping up stairs and not down here watching the horse. That is what it sound like. But Amy didn't mean to say what she said. That is why Ty didn't say goodbye to Amy. It was so sad you could tell that Amy wanted Ty to say goodbye. And when Ty came out to see Amy Leave you could tell that he was sad
When Amy and Jack got to victor it was funny because a woman came to say hello a jack put his hand to shake but the woman huged him and than said that your grandfather could never take a hug.
It was also funny when peter showed up at Heartland and Lou was so shocked like omg what is he doing here. Lou said i thought you were skiing than he said it would have been no fun with out you. Than Lou said that she had this corporate booking thing than peter said i don't think you do than Lou said no peter i am not joking i really do and they booked every cabin so i am going to be really really busy. Than peter says that people at mountain direct are really laid back so. Lou says what how did you know the name of the and than she knows that it is peter and is shocked again.
It is funny when victor hands Amy the golf club and says your turn and Amy says no i never golf before. and he says will no time like the pracent. and than she try's to golf it was funny.
I didn't like the park where kit was helping Ty work with Harley kit did some stupid think with a rope she tied the rope around Harley's lag so when they try to put the satill on him he can't run away or kick them. Ty says don't you think that is kind of krull don't you think. Kit says will it is only krull if the person who is tieing doesn't know what they are doing. Ty replies i don't know it just feels weird. Kit says because it is not Amy's way. Ty says no i just can't do this than kit says fine you do it her way referring to Amy's way. Ty feels sorry that he didn't do it kit way i guess.
I really liked the part when jack got back from talking Amy to victor's and said to Ty how is it going Ty says will he still won't listen to me. Jack says will what are you trying to tell him. Ty said it's no use jack he is not going to be broken by the time she gets back. Jack says who. Ty looks at him and than jack knows who he is talking about. Ty says i just wanted to jack buts in to impress her. Ty says no i, will maby i. Jack says the thing about bracken a horse Ty is if you go at it like you have 15min it will take you all day dut if you go at it like you have all day it will take you only 15min. Ty says to Harley here that buddy we got all day. And then he get on him and says to jack see that jack nothing to it and then Harley goes crazy.
Ok i have bin talking about this for a long time so i am just going to say at the end when Ty come to pick up Amy, Amy looked really happy but i just think that was just because spartan was ok. Than Ty and Amy were up on the mountain and Ty finally told Amy how he felt but Amy gave him this wired speech. And than Amy turned around and say victor rinding his horse so Ty and Amy just looked at him and then Heartland was over.
next weeks episode looks good. Amy and Ty get stranded at jacks fishing cabin and tell each other there feeling for each other.
the bad part is the Ty is sick oh i hope he is going to be ok.
Victoria.

I agree with almost everyone this week. But i did find it was almost a waste of an episode, nothing really happened.
Lauren, you are totally right, I noticed the same things, with the bits. A western curb, a pelhamn, then a d-ring, snaffle, kind of all over the place. But it is obvious Spartan is played by many different horses.
Now Kit... i was disappointed with the story the writers gave her...That was low. They tried to make her look like the bad guy, with the horse and all, and even though i personally don't agree with it either... it works. Ty... you dumb little boy. I, for the first time ever HATED him! No matter what anyone else says, he did string Kit along for far too long before breaking things off. It was a cheap shot making Kit look like the bad guy. He looked really dumb when he was trying to explain himself.
Oh and i really didn't get the whole... spiritual healing thing. I have friends who are native-american and have lived on a reserve, and uh... their not like that. It seemed kinda corny.
And Spartan, really, he would only refuse to jump if jumping was hurting him, he can't sense Amy's inner conflict to understand life.
What the heck does that have to do with jumping?
Mallory is hardly in the show anymore, Jake too. And Scott.
If Ty could ride a bull in the rodeo, he so should have been able to sit those bucks. Just something i noticed.
( It was a good scene, though somewhat inaccurate. In my experience training several horses, young ones don't freak. My new horse, a 4 year old, i've only just started riding him this fall, and he is amazing! He was, before i had him, in a field over a year, untouched, and since then i've ridden him downtown in the Laurentians. )
I've said it before and i'll say it again, Ty needs to learn how to ride.
Did any of you notice, in other episodes, him and Amy are always Galloping downhill! They're insane. Then again if their horses break their legs, their loss.
Okay...I've vented... I'm good now!

AWSOME EPISODE!!!
I loved that song (M'Girl - Eyes Wide Open) that they played when Victor was on his horse riding in the snow.
HA! I was smiling the whole time when Ty was talking to Kit. (BTW He was only talking...he never said that he was breaking up with her shes the one that cut to the chase and got all emotional *rolls eyes*) I can't believe those two...Whenever KIT KISSES TY (not the other way around) Ty makes the kiss friendly and like a peck. (and he ALWAYS end the kisses) It takes Kit soooo long to relize that Ty isn't completely in love with her. *shakes head*
Has anybody noticed that Amy was all "in the zone" after being with Victor. (HE DRUGGED HER!!! lol NOT.) No really when she was talking to Ty after she wasn't her usual love cluless, competitive self. I mean she actually said "your a big part of my heart" NOOOOBODY says that unless your gonna pledge your undieing love to them or something like that.
I felt sorry for Ty in this one. The whole time he's like "wut?" and "I'm so confused." He can't explain his LOVE for Amy and he doesn't want Kit to feel bad. (And he doesn't want Kit to feel played and be after him.)
I say nothing about the Lou and Peter relationship...cause I don't really care. BUT HIS DOGGY IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!
Anyhoo thats my take...AWSOME SHOW!!!

P.S. Amy and Ty are great together, but what about Lou and Scott? I hope he is in more episodes next season!

@Twe: LOL @ the weirdness of 'LOST'. Maybe one day when I'm old and grey, and hopefully still mentally sound, I'll re-watch the entire LOST series. Maybe it'll make some sense then. Because while I like intrigue, I also like getting answers once in a while, not more and more questions and intrigue. Hmm. Maybe it's me that just needs more patience...
As for why I love NCIS, that's like being asked why you love your best friend. I actually didn't get into it until it was in its third season. When I did get into it, I went out and bought the series on DVD to catch up on what I missed. NCIS has the drama, mystery and suspense, but mixes in its own brand of quirky humour you're not likely to find anywhere else. It has the forensic element as well, as one would expect from any show about law enforcement. But what distinguishes NCIS, I think, is the brilliant chemistry between the diverse ensemble cast. Oh, and it also has this fellow named Mark Harmon, who like Heartland's Shaun Johnston, is a silver-haired fox. (Did I just say that out loud?)

This was an utterly HORRIBLE episode. The worst one yet. The music makes my ears bleed and come on. I'm not doing a full frecap as usual, I'm just pointing out all the insanly stupid parts!!!!
First of all, Amy's riding like an idiot. Trying to go over a branch in a western saddle with a neck reining signal. And she's such a sucky rider that she can't even stay on after a short refusal. So she limps back to the barn where Ty is, "Are you limping?". No, she answers. HA! Then she spills the short story. He asks if she's okay. Gee Ty, she's walking, she's talking, and she's limping. Of course she's fine! What a stupid question! He points out she's been distracted and hasn't been riding well (Kind of no difference there!) she accuses him that Spartn's the one with problems because Wes came and took him in the middle of the night while he was upstairs asleep. Oh Amy, don't you think you might have just poked a sore spot? He walks away, disgusted and hurt. Oh don't worry Tyler, you'll get used to her and her weird moody ways.
Then she tells Lou that Ty and his girlfriend cn do trail rides for Heartland's Winter Wonderland (What a catchy name hey? I mean so much creativity! NOT!!!). He once again, stalks out disgusted and hurt. Then he decides he wants to break Harley. Ooh, a guy just out of no where wants to break his own horse. so he "lunges" (God that wasn't lunging, that was more like chasing a horse at the end of a lead rope). Mallory (the snob that she is) points out that the point is for Harley to run in circles.
Okay, I'll be back with Part 2... Running out of time. Untill next time!

We, The Friendly Freaks, out of dire necessity, have compiled a list of the top ten reasons Why Ty Collapses. We mean these in all seriousness. BTW Way to go TC, obviously Great minds think alike.
Here they are starting with,
10) Caffeine withdrawl
9) Concussion
8) Pneumonia (yes, TC)
7) An exploding appendix that is unoperable due to a non-cancerous tumor
6) A twitching toe
5) An emu stab which got infected (please note: emu stabbed him with its beak...not a knife)
4) Kidney stones
3) shark bite
2) Amy gets mohawk/mullet haircut and dyes her hair blue
And the number one, and most likely scenario for Why Ty Collapses is:
1) Women won't let him speak. His brain implodes from inability to express himself.
These have been the scientifically (the Friendly Freaks Way) proven to be the most likely reasons for Why Ty Collapses.
This is your Friendly reminder to watch out for roaming emus with kidney stones.
Sincerely,
The Friendly Freaks

Okay Part 2.
Then Mallory the snob that she is just says out "When are you going to break up with Kit?". Well Mal, it's non of your freakin buisness what Ty wants to screw up. I mean honestly. Then Amy leaves without saying goodbye to Ty, which still widens the gap. Don't we notice how after Caleb's gone everything seems to change? Oh he's gone, now I have to break up ith Kit so he won't kick me inside out, and I have to get together with Amy.
Then Amy arrives, all in all she learns how to swing a golf club. Oh yipeee! Why don't you hit her in the head while your at it? Honestly, swinging a golf club is such a huge deal right? Then she tries a spiritual ritual (Say no to drugs!). And then having a nightmare (It's the drugs you took kid!) which was totally obvious that "She didn't know which way to go". Please.
Back at home, Lou's throwing a fit about how "Peter has a wife" so obvious that it's an Ex-wife which is thrown in her face later on. And where was the scenes of them riding together? I mean helllllooooooo?!
Then Ty's looking at a picture of Amy on his cell phone (Awwwwe how cute, gag me) Then snaps it shut as Kit walks in the room apologizing for her behavior when she was trying to help break Harley with her "Cruel Cowboy Methods". He then gives the classic line of "I really like you. But I think we should just stay friends" Where'd he get that? A cruddy movie? And then makes a fake attempt to call after her. Boo Hoo, he's jumping with joy on the inside.
Then Amy discovers that at one time Victor Whitetail (Once again, catchy name eh?) was more than friends with her mother (EWWWWW!!!!). Which doesn't disturb her at all. Then she's amazed by how he can ride a horse with no saddle or bridle. Well I got news or you, lots of horses are trained that way. And they replayed the scene at the end. How cheap.
When Ty does manage to mount on Harley, he takes off after a smart mouth comment. That always happens (Surprise surprise) When a car rolls over after an accident, everbody's fine, it explodes. When you get on a horse, everything's calm and good, then the horse takes off and throws the rider. Soooooo obvious.
Oh then Ty comes to pick Amy up, again how obvious is it that when Ty starts acting like an idiot he's about to go all emotional. Then Amy responds with this weirdo spirt talk speech. Honestly, now who does she sound like? If I were Ty, I'd really back off for a few weeks. Let her get her brain back.
In the end, horrible acting, horrible writing. A very bad episode. And I had to watch a Jonas Brothers video and a Miley Cyrus video for that. Come one peoples. Season 3 better be soooooooooo much better because Season 2 really sucked.
On The Next Heartland: Oh Ty's sick, why does everything happen to Ty?! Can't Amy get beat up or get sick for ONCE?!! Might be altitude sickness, that's usually when people faint. And it's the Season Finale............. YAY!!!!!!!!!!! At least we won't have to worry about him dying, people just don't kill off main characters....

Well, can't say that I was overly thrilled with this epsiode having been so spoiled with many previous ones. Lots of good points, of course ie: scenery of the Alberta winter, fantastic musical score, horses galloping through the snow - twice, and enjoying Lou & Peter's developing relationship. But too many holes this time made the storyline feel somewhat confused and rushed. I LOVE the Kit character (and the young actress who plays her so well) but the Tye/Kit break-up was poorly done and I felt both actors could have been given more realistic dialogue for such an important and expected scenerio because we all knew it was coming. The Horse Whisperer, Victor, was good but trying to throw in the Marion affair just came out of left field and didn't seem believable or even necessary, for me anyway. And as a previous poster mentioned, the whole "healing" with Amy was too neat, tidy and quick. Wish I could get results that fast with ANYTHING in my life!! And I don't know but using a WHITE golf ball in the snow, doesn't seem to "wise" to me.
Looking forward to the last episode of the season next week, looks like another cliffhanger in the making as Tye keels over at the end of the promo!

Access to the previous episodes online has permitted me to fully understand and appreciate all of the character development that has occurred over the two seasons. This weeks episode was pretty good, lots of scenary, healing and Kit and Ty finally broke up.Although Ty should have broken up with kit earlier so it does not feel so rushed, I meen from Kit to Amy in the same day.Amy and Ty should have gotten together earlier, it feels very repetative from last year having the suspence of them getting together, it's just anoying now.Even if they get together next week we will only have one episode to enjoy it,if they don't the clif hanger will be too over used. I agrea with DDW, Amy's problems should have been more "messy" and it was confusing to understand what her problem was.Lou and her bf are really cute,I actually like peter. So the ending was also really confusing, did Amy reject Ty?OH PLEASE PUT AMY AND TY TOGETHER,I don't want to wait 5 months knowing that they are not.

Wonderful episode however I agree with other posters that is was weaker than previous episodes. IMHO the writers of the show have to deal with the romantic tension between Ty and Amy. It's the end of Season 2 and nothing has changed. They've kissed a few times, argued and apologized a few times, misunderstood each other more than a few times. Either evolve the characters together as a couple or leave them as friends and move on.
I understand that romantic tension creates suspense and that keeps viewers but if dragged on too long it "wears, sir, as it goes". I liked Caleb and felt that his characters wasn't given a fair enough chance with Amy so when he left, it wasn't a big deal. If Amy had a stronger relationship with Caleb it would have been a lot more emotional when he left to join the rodeo circuit.
I liked that Ashley was a bit more tempered and not as cliche as the the "snob". But mixing Amy/Kit/Ty/Caleb and Ashley in one hormone soup was too much.
One thing that attracted me to the show was Amy's work with horses but there wasn't as much of that in season 2. That's unfortunate because there are so many shows that deal with "teen drama" that Heartland had a hook to make it unique and watchable.
Still, it was a very watchable year and a good season of TV (with the exception of the Hollywood comes to Heartland episode which was badly done). I look forward to seeing a more mature Amy and Ty in Season 3 :) Cheers.

Hi it's me again Victoria i am back to say more things that i couldn't say two days ago because my mom needed on the computer. i am going to talk about the next episode.
Well the next episode sounds good and looks good by the look of the preview for next week. Ty and Amy getting stranded at jacks fishing cabin and tell each other there feeling for each other. The bad part after they tell each other there feeling they go out side the cabin because they here a noise. I think that is how it is going to go. Anyway as i was saying, they here a noise they go out side and here are all these horse just standing there. Than Ty faints Amy looks back to see what happend. She see Ty laying on the ground. I am guessing she doesn't know what to do so she calls her grandfather (jack) telling him that Ty has fainted. OOOOHHHH i hope he is all right i hope nothing happens to him. Because if something happens to him than Amy and him won't be together.
But something tells me that he is going to be all right. :):):)
Now i am going to as you why is Mallory,Scott,Ashly, and jack well not jack so much we see him in like every episode. This is more about Mallory,Scott, and Ashly. They are like never on the show anymore why is that we got to see Mallory on the last episode let's hope we get to see her again in the final episode. And where is Scott the last time we saw him was in episode Dark Horse where he won that race. He also got this thing where he could stay at Heartland free for a week why didn't he use it.
And now for Ashly the last time we saw her was when Caleb was leaving. I know we are not going to see her for a while but, and i am not trying to be mean but i am really happy that we might not be seeing her for because i kind of don't like Ashly.
Ok i told you who we all kind of want Scott back on Heartland but if you can't get Scott back on Heartland than that is ok but i really want Mallory back on so i season 3 could you get her in more of the episode. And for Ashly i would like to see her i season 3 even throw i don't really like her. And i hope Caleb is back i season 3 to but if he is back i hope that he doesn't get in the way of Ty and Amy if Ty and Amy get together before season 3. They probably will throw. As for kit i feel really sorry that she got bumped by Ty because she is cool but i am also glad that Ty bumped her because now Ty and Amy can get together. Kit wasn't right for Ty anyway Ty and Amy are more right for each other than kit and Ty are. Well that is all i have to say i hope in the last episode Ty and Amy get together that would make me happy but if they don't and the last episode leaves me with a lot of questions i will be happy to.
(:Hope the last episode is really great Victoria:)
(Oh and you guys are doing a really good job if anyone says you are not doing a good job do not listen to them, you guys are great and Heartland is a great show)

I loved the episode but If Ty dies (cuz he's sick) I most likely won't be watching Heartland anymore! Though I probly will until Amy goes out with Caleb!

Haha, Nikole yeah I also noticed that Ty blinks a lot when he is hurt or taken back. It's cute.
Ty and Amy's ride home from Victor's must have been awkward after Amy's response. If the preview hadn't given away that Ty and Amy get together, I would have thought that the shift she was talking about meant that she is now just happy being friends with Ty, nothing more.
I hope Scott is back next episode, I love his smile! But I'm guessing now that they will leave him till next season, cause one episode really isn't for him and Lou to get back together... however, Heartland has quite the ability to do things in a small time frame.
Heartland is really predictable in the way that you know the end result, such as Ty and Amy obviously get together, but you could never guess how or when it happens.
TV fan, I really like your comments, they are funny and very true sometimes

@SMM: Oh, I nearly died laughing when I read your post. You thought you were reading TV Fan? Perish the thought!
But in all seriousness, I must have been in some kind of funky mood, or under some villain's evil remote mind-control scheme. I'm not usually that cynical. But you're right: I was kinda edgy with that one. From now on, snark will remain firmly TV Fan's domain.
Next week we'll have a return of the kinder, gentler, snark-free TC.
@Twe: "Women won't let him speak". Bwa ha ha ha! Please, no brain-imploding Ty. Not noticing too many snow sharks and emu farms in Alberta, but I guess anything is possible. I suppose one can collapse due to a multitude of reasons, but collapsed lungs and/or pneumonia are the top of my 'most likely' list.
@TV Fan: 'He then gives the classic line of "I really like you. But I think we should just stay friends" Where'd he get that? A cruddy movie? And then makes a fake attempt to call after her. Boo Hoo, he's jumping with joy on the inside.' ---> Oh, I cracked up reading this, especially the last sentence. You do snark way better than I ever could, evil mind-control plots aside. I was skeptical about your low opinions of Heartland in the early going, but I actually do find lots of entertainment value in your posts. Don't let the nay-sayers silence you, though I'm sure you don't care what they say, anyway.
Less than a week to go...and then the whole summer long to wait for Season Three. I predict we won't have a resolution to what ails either Ty or Val. I also predict we may see complications in Lou's love life because there's no way she'll be able to keep Precious Pete a secret. I'm feeling there's even something left over for Mallory, because we haven't heard much from her in regards to her touring parents in a while... Sometimes, speculation can be fun, and sometimes it can drive you crazy. Wonder when filming starts for the new season??
'Til Sunday at 7pm,
-TC

Over all great episode...I really liked how Amy connected with Sparten with no rains...just letting him do it all on his own. Ty finally breaks up with Kit! Thank goodness for that! I kinda felt bad for her..just a little...at lest Ty didn't do it too hashley. Mallory I love you! "So when are you gonna break up with Kit? Come on Ty! Its obvious she's a rebound! Mallory your soo pratical! Lou and Peter are ok together in my opinion....but her and Scott are soo much better....speaking of the vet...where was are "all smiles man" in this episode? I have read the books and in like the 13th book the barn falls on Ty during a storm and he goes into a coma. Wonder if it will be the same in the season finale. I didn't see any barns falling down during the little preview....only Ty collapsing on the snow so suddenly....I don't know about all of you....but after this episode...i have a strong feeling that it's gonna be a Loooong year before the first episode of season 3 airs.
Hailey
P.S. Could you guys tell us what day that episode will be? Thanks!

My Alberta rockies, especially in the winter, are truly majestic !!
This episode offered up some awesome country scenery, emotional drama and of course our "Mallory" and "Jack" humour, which is the main staple of a great episode. "Full Circle" indeed.
@ TC, Nikole, TV Fan, Friendly Freaks - Y'all have good points and y'all make me laugh. All of your comments clearly represent the diversity of people to which Heartland reaches. This makes for great blogging!
@ Twe - where are you ?????? (I am waiting patiently for your digress-es? digressions?).
Until we meet again.......Sunday, 5:00 pm....for the.....dare I say it.....SEASON 2 FINALE!

First - some comments about recent blog comments -
lol @ Friendly Freaks - funny list of 10, but you mised the obvious one - in the books Ty goes into a coma. Could that be happening this Sunday? Hope not!!!
Raychel, Victoria, Nikole - wow, suddenly everyone wants to compete with TC and spend more time writing blog comments than it takes to watch a Heartland episode. Too funny. Love all your comments. However...
TV Fan - I really don't get you. a few weeks ago I took you to task, for you always were mean-spirited and berating in your comments, so I asked you why you even watched Heartland. Twe and a couple of others agreed, and you backed off. Now you are back, more bitter and sarcastic than ever, so I will repeat my earlier comment -
WHY DO YOU EVEN WATCH HEARTLAND IF IT MAKES YOU SO MISERABLE? Why can't you watch a show that you enjoy and go make nice on that show's website? Or are you just not capable of being nice? Really, dude - for you have to be a guy - save yourself an ulcer and go watch something you might like. Sheesh!
But - I can't end on a down note - love the show, love the stories, love the horses. Keep 'em coming! I sure hope the season finale doesn't leave us with too much in the way of a cliffhanger. Can't wait.

Hey everybody...sorry for my horrible lateness in posting. Something very strange happened to me. I came to the website. I read TC's blog and laughed. I wrote in "Twe" and my e-mail, and then.... I didn't know what to say. Which is very, very, strange. Usually it's getting me to shut up which is the hard thing. But for this one time, the Twe was at a complete loss of words.
As I lay disconsolately in bed each night, I asked myself over and over how this could happen. And then I figured it out. I didn't want to comment because... well.....to be frank.... I didn't really enjoy that episode. Wait, wait, don't string me up!! I'll be perfectly honest: there were moments I loved. I was so happy when Ty broke up with Kit, though I felt really sorry for the poor gal. I enjoyed watching Ty break Harley... or Harley break Ty...or whatever that was. I found intrigueing the old buried romance between Victor and Marion--Amy must have found that so unsettling! That was a very interesting twist, and though some people didn't like it, I did. And there was this one shot where Victor was riding that pinto bareback and Amy was watching him from above.... The music, the visuals, the facial expressions: it was all so beautiful! And of course I enjoyed the interchanges between Jack and Ty and the advancement in Lou & Precious Pete's relationship.
But this is what I didn't like: the over-Indian-ness. I know natives. My parents grew up with natives and were very close to many of them. I have native buddies. And, yo, they don't talk like that. They don't rant on and on about the two-leggeds and the running of rivers and I don't know what all. Let's get this straight: natives should be proud of their ancestry. We all are. But does that mean we rant on, and on, and oooooooooon about it? So, this is what I'm trying to say: the indian thing was great. But it was a little over the top, and I found that a little...insulting. If I had been a native watching that I would have flipped.
Does this change how much I love HEARTLAND? A clue: nooooo. It was awesome watching it with my good old buddy batgirl. And when I saw the trailer for next week's episode...well, I guess I'll go rant on about that in the next forum, but let's just say..... Bring on Sunday! Yeeehaw!
@Kimberly L. Thanks for letting me know I was missed! I'll try to be more regular. No more lying sleeplessly on my bed.
@ TV Fan: Duuuude, watch out, you're getting popular!! Someone even wants to kiss you.... ha ha, don't "puke yourself green".
@ Friendly Freaks: Freak on, friends.

Ok, there's a subject I have to clarify on. Some people have been saying that I told TV Fan to back off. So, here's the complete position of Twe on the subject of TV Fan ( I quote the twecyclopedia):
At first, Twe did not like TV Fan, because TV Fan's comments were short, negative, and pointless. Twe wanted to see TV Fan mount up on a horse and ride into the sunset (and preferably into the sun itself), never to return. Hoooowever: as TV Fan's comments improved, became more inciteful, and more entertaining, all while still retaining their sarcastic sting, Twe decided that TV Fan brought a little something different and enjoyable to the blog. This strange something is called a "different opinion". Twe's being won over could largely be attributed to a phrase..."puke me green"....which Twe found highly amusing. So Twe does not want to see TV Fan run out of town. (don't let that go to your head, dude. Oh, darn, it's going to his head. Look at that head swell up!!) This does not mean that Twe agrees with any of what TV Fan says, of course. Because he's obviously a dude trying to meet chics who come to the blog... or some nerd.... or a convicted psychopath...
Anywho, that's just to make everything clear. (oh, boy, that head's gonna blow!! Watch out!!) KABOOOOOM!! Oh, well, so much for TV Fan...

Holy major gaffe, Batman! TC went and referred to 'Friendly Freaks' as 'Twe'! I wanted to chew off my fingers when I realised that bit of shoddy blog-manship. First I turn into a 'TV Fan' impersonator, then I confuse members of the Heartland blogging community. I must really be out of sorts this week. It must be psychological. I chalk it up to pre-season finale withdrawal symptoms, or PSFWS.
So, to Twe and Friendly Freaks, apologies all 'round.
@Friendly Freaks, especially, (I got it right this time!): I'll repeat that I loved your post. Yes, great minds think alike - though in this case (on my account) I'd be tempted to say that fools (namely me) seldom differ. Stick around: you're in good company, and your humorous comments are indeed welcome.
@smm: You're right: Lisa Stillman does have that place in the south of France. Le sigh. She sure would have picked a great time to go there, too. (Chuckle - Right around the time filming wrapped on the season, southern Alberta was mired in a serious cold snap. I'm talking -20 and -30s as the daily highs for 5 weeks straight.) The French Riviera vs. wind chills of -35 Celsius? Even in a fancy-pants Porsche Cayenne with heated leather seats, it doesn't compare.
@Twe: You've said what I was really thinking about the episode without the sarcasm mine was laced with. While I'm not surrounded by Native folk in my neck of the woods, I have been exposed to Native culture. Sadly, a majority of that 'exposure' has been through the rather inaccurate medium called 'television'. If the way Victor was talking and behaving isn't the way an Authentic Native Man would speak and act, we ought to demand better depictions, then. No more parodies or stereotypes!
Final word on my thoughts about this episode: I'd mentioned in that earlier post that Penny Gummerson, writer for 'Full Circle', is Métis; at least that's what I was able to find out about her during my research phase for my blog entry. (Yes, I did look her up. I'm a geek that way.) So unless there's another 'Penny Gummerson' that's not Métis who wrote 'Full Circle', I have to conclude Ms. Gummerson had some idea of what she was doing. As for me, watching TV and reading 'Green Grass, Running Water' will never provide me with enough factual information about how a character like Victor Whitetail ought to behave. I won't carp again about things I don't know a whole lot about.
Takin' things Step by Step,
-TC

I read the book collection in French, it's a little diffrent from the English books..and the tv show, but everything about Heartland is amazing. I wish i had a horse and had the talent Amy has. Hey all, I know I haven't posted in FOREVER! But I'm Back, I would go back and post on everything I missed but frankly the amount of posts has gone up and I'm lazy and running low on time as it is. So real quick note. Okay episode 14 I had a total FINALLY Background information revealed moment. I was excindinly giddy about it. But anyway I have quite enjoyed the season, not as fond of this episode but Max is adorable. and I do LOVE Harley.soo cute.
Something I noticed is that the Blog is no longer all " OMG OMG OMG TY IS SOOOO HOT!" I'd like to thank you all for saying something other than that cause frankly I was getting annoyed with it. Don 't get me wrong those of u who wish to state that just add something else in. I also noticed some constructive criticism. Way Cool! I vote that to be Twe-Awesome. Keep up the wonderful work, Both cast/crew, and bloggers.

But.... if they follow the book and Amy goes to college and dumps Ty and he gets together with that Heather person, I'm goign to be soooo angry!!! Because I LOVE Amy and Ty together. Well, it probably won't happen because they don't follow the books very well, which is kind of a good thing. I'd actually stop watching Heartland!! I'd actually be soooo angry if Amy dumped Ty again. Ty and Amy are so like bro/sis. Caleb/Amy = TBC. Too many outta-the-blue stuff recently. Just 2 examples: Ty breaking up w/Kit; we'd barely seen any conversations between them. Amy: A 2-day spiritual enlightening, man! Thanks to the lady for pointing out the inconsistencies. More and more of them plus over-the-top situations. Remember Amy almost getting shot at; why? Was she such a threat? This is still a great show, but please people be more critical ... Horse lovers: Is there such a person as a 'Victor' in real life?
