Hi all... there have been a lot of questions as to how the full episodes will be working this year, and so far it hasn't gotten off to a smooth start. The way things work this year are a little different from last year as the CBC has made a few changes on how shows get encoded. Because most shows now go to iTunes as well as online, there is a group that encodes all of the video. With more shows online this year, there has been a bit of a backlog. That's mostly been taken care of, so the new episodes should be going up on the Monday after the show airs at the latest.
As for first season episodes, we're looking at the contract to make sure we still have rights to stream season 1. Things look good, though.
In addition to the new video encoding system, we have new video players as well that now allow full screen viewing and some other additional features. However, it's taking a bit of time to migrate stuff over to the new player. Hopefully by the end of today, we'll have a player up there that will allow you to view both episodes of the new season so far.
Whew... I know that's a lot to take in, but bear with us! We want to make sure Heartland fans (in Canada) can see the show whenever they want.

I love being able to watch the episodes on line, as I see to miss them when they air on TV. Any chance that season 2, episode 1 will be up. I missed the first bit and would love to be able to see it! Or will we only be able to watch the latest episode?

Can you make it so that U.S.A. fans can watch past episodes online, too? That would make my day. I just started watching and I missed the second episode and am bummed because it looked REALLY good especially w/ the episode #1 cliffhanger.

My cousin loves heartland she's been watching it every week since the first season, so she made me watch episode 1 of season 2 on sunday and I LOVED IT but i wanted to see the first season of it! Is it available to buy on dvd or can we only to watch them here? I
also love the fact that the show is all canadian, i live in calgary and its nice that a show hits so close to home (hahaha)
Heartland is a great story so far will good values which it rare to see on tv nowadays THANKYOU

I agree I love good values in movies. That is rare, but nice. I love the fact that it is something that can be watched with the whole family. Keep up the good work and never change. I was also wondering if the first season is coming out on season 1? Can I buy them on Itunes? Will I be able to watch season 1 and two on this site. Please respond. I'm dieing to know.

I'm leaving Canada for some time and would LOVE to continue to see HEARTLAND. Anyway that I can do that while out of Canada?
