When the season started I promised you eight brand new episodes in a row, and this is #8, one that totally lives up to its title - The Fix - in more ways than one. On Sunday's new episode, entitled (very appropriately) Growing Pains, Amy and Ty clash over conflicting "parenting" styles when they become surrogate parents to an orphaned foal. Between the bottle-feeding, constant playtime and lack of sleep, there are not enough hours in a day for Amy and Ty to even get some decent sleep themselves.

Every year about one month into autumn you can count on certain things. Things like the leaves being more on the ground than on the trees, Halloween, and of course getting that hour back that we all - outside of Saskatchewan - lost in the spring when we adjusted our clocks and lost Daylight Savings Time last weekend.

Everyone that works on Heartland - from the cast and crew to the producers and writers (not to mention your friendly neighbourhood blogger/moderator) - has at least one thing in common: We LOVE reading the comments on this blog every week. Well, on set this week the cast and crew had nothing short of a miserable time, as early October snowstorms wreaked havoc in the Calgary area. The past two days saw over 600 (yes, SIX HUNDRED!) car accidents in the city and as a result it made getting to the exterior filming locations very difficult. Add to this the fact that there was no desire to have snow in the current episode that is being shot and it has made for some long hard days on set.
