September 27 - This Sunday's NEW Heartland Episode

So we have another brand new Season 6 episode for us all to watch this Sunday, the 3rd of 18 to be premiered only on CBC Television.

Photos from season six, episode three of Heartland

[ Click through for info and photos on the episode and some answers to a few questions ]

Life on the Heartland ranch goes on... and although the engagement of Amy and Ty seems to be on the back burner for now, some things are certainly front and centre. In this episode we will learn the value of family and friendship -- but not without misunderstandings and a little accidental grief thrown in.

In Sunday's episode, written by Ken Craw and directed by Dean Bennett, Tim hopes for a big payday when he helps Lanny, a wealthy weekend cowboy look for his dream ranch, while Amy's stuck teaching his trophy wife (Paige) how to ride. Lou also pushes hard for Lanny's business when she learns he's looking for a new financial advisor. Meanwhile, the stress from Ty's up-coming finals and failed marriage proposal causes him to make an embarrassing -- but somewhat hilarious -- gaff at the clinic.

Lisa returns to Heartland and is shocked to learn Jack is acting as a foster parent to Georgie, and Scott becomes concerned with Ty's stress and decides to do something about it... a move that takes Ty aback.

As it often happens on Heartland, there is a lot going on.

Lanny and his wife Paige are respectively played by guest stars Rob Stewart and Carlyn Burchell, and this is the episode which introduces us to Cassandra Lee, played by Kaitlyn Wong Leeb. And before the first commercial break something is going to happen to make some of you very happy. And no -- it has nothing to do with what's on the back burner. :)

That's all I have to tell you regarding this new episode of Heartland, premiering this Sunday (September 30) at 7:00pm across Canada (7:30pm in Newfoundland)... but it has been a couple of weeks since I have addressed some of your comments and questions, so I thought I'd take some time and do just that right now.

First, to answer several questions and comments that have cropped up regarding our DVD giveaway contest -- this contest is for Canadian residents only. Sorry, but rules and regulations vary depending on what country you are in, so we have to limit those who can enter to residents of Canada only. Besides, Season 5 DVDs are not available in other countries yet, and different broadcasters have those rights; we cannot be infringing on them.

And now to answer several comments regarding Ty and Amy's relationship.

There are some of you who would like to see them engaged, married and off living on their own ranch, all happening in one episode. And there are some of you who are concerned that the series is not going to handle the situation with the respect it deserves.

I'm not going to go into detail, but I will say that the writers have gotten us this far (this Sunday is the 88th episode!) and you are reading this so you must be somewhat captivated by what has unfolded until now, so all I can tell you is to trust the creative team behind Heartland.

From reading all your comments on this site and on Facebook I believe I have a pretty good idea this season is going to deliver, as the seasons in the past have.

Lisa wrote, Since we can't see Heartland in the USA except Season 3 on GMC what would it hurt for us to be able to watch it on-line on this website?

A good question, and one that I will again answer. GMCtv has the right to broadcast Seasons 5 and 6 in the US, only after they have shown the episodes from Seasons 3 and 4 (which they are doing now). When they show these episodes it will be for the first time in the US and they will be selling advertising for what will be for them a first-run show. Advertisers might not be so eager to place ads on a show that all of America has been able to watch online on the CBC website. Therefore CBC has to respect this and can only stream episodes in Canada and not allow them to be seen outside its borders.

There are also a slew (or should that be slough?) of questions about specific characters -- Lisa, Ashley, Mallory, Badger, Blair, Chase, Stumpy(!), Miranda, Shane, Janice and others who even I have forgotten. I will repeat what I have written in past blogs, for I don't expect you to read and remember everything I write -- though some of you do -- and every week there are first time fans of Heartland joining our ever growing community.

When I write the preview for an upcoming episode I try to reveal just enough to entice you, but I do not want to give away too much. Every episode will have something new, and this is one Blog Whisperer (that would be me!) who will not be accused of spoiling.

That being written, there are some characters who perhaps the writers wanted back who will not be able to for various reasons. Over the course of six years many things can happen and although many of the characters you know and love will remain on the series for its duration, some will not be returning. This I think is part of the fun of watching the new episodes -- you never know what to expect, despite my teases and previews.

So that's all for this week. We're now into fall and Heartland is well under way on CBC. Everything is unfolding exactly as it should.

Enjoy Sunday's new episode and as always, come back and tell us all what you thought of it. But remember -- the cards have been dealt, so to speak. If you request something to happen it may or may not occur, for the scripts for the rest of the season have either been filmed or have been written.

Trust the production team, friends and fans. They have gotten the Bartletts and the Flemings this far, and there are still roads ahead. Let's all enjoy the ride.

And as you may or may not know, it's Culture Days in Canada this weekend. There are dozens of events happening across Canada, maybe even in your community.

In Calgary, Heartland cast members Amber Marshall, Shaun Johnston, Michelle Morgan, Graham Wardle and Alisha Newton will be joining George Stroumboulopoulos on stage at Olympic Plaza for a chat before a live concert featuring Big Valley, Samantha Savage Smith and the Dudes.

It all starts around 5:30pm. If you can make it, great!

I know Heartland will continue to deliver, maybe not with what or who we expected, but it is still the most captivating show on TV for me, and as long as they keep making it, I will keep watching it :)

Sounds exciting. Wonder what's going to happen.
Does Lou really need more work? We will finally learn how Jack liked Paris. Wonder what Scott's going to do. Hire another assistant? Hope Ty's not too upset about the proposal issue. He's been through enough.

I understand your comments BW. But unfortunately when you deal with TV shows, it's not about what you did for me in the past, it's about what you're doing for me now. Here in the US, the TV show Bones is a perfect example. Bones was one of my favorite shows for 5 seasons, I never missed it. It's now running new Season 8 episodes, and I haven't watched the show in over a year. I simply don't like the show anymore with the way they handled certain situations, and I'm not gonna waste my time watching a show I don't like just because I once liked it in the past.

Now that hasn't happened with me for Heartland yet. I'm still a fan...but admittedly I haven't really enjoyed this season thus far. With TV shows it's about the fans, because if the fans aren't there then the show will no longer be there. And I don't think any show can rely on the amazing TV the gave us in earlier seasons to equate to those fans sticking around for later seasons if they don't like the product. The die-hards will always watch the show....but the other fans who aren't so heavily invested will watch the show if they enjoy it, but if they begin to no longer enjoy it...they may decide to watch something else. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. You're right in that the writers have already pretty much made their bed in terms of what direction the show will take, but it's now gonna be up to the folks who watch the show to decide how they feel about their decisions. I'd like to see the show hang around a while longer, but it concerns me to see so much animosity this early in a season...if fans are this unhappy and remain unhappy, I fear the ratings will show it. I just know if i were a writer or producer, I'd much prefer happy fan reaction as opposed to the reaction I've seen the last two weeks. But alas...we'll just have to wait and see what happens, and if the decisions the writers have made will turn some of the fans who aren't very happy with the product thus far.:))

And also, I haven't personally seen any fan say they want to see Amy/Ty engaged, married and living in there own place in one episode. Most just want to see progress and moving forward instead of the stagnating and back-and-forth...big difference there. They don't want everything to happen at once, they just don't want the Amy/Ty story to turn into a soap opera, and that's kind of what many feel it's becoming. I don't really want to see Heartland turn into General Hospital.:))

Thanks again BW for the awesome blog. I've watched the first 2 episodes and I wasn't disappointed at all- sometimes life throws you curve balls and that's exactly what has happen on Heartland. After all, Heartland is one of the most realistic shows I have ever watched. So no matter what happens on Heartland, be it good or bad you won't loose me!!

Keep you the great work. You are certainly keeping me on the edge of my seat with this statement 'before the first commercial break something is going to happen to make some of you very happy.- And it has nothing to do with what's going on the back burner.' My guess is there is Jack and Lisa are probably engaged but that's just my guess. I'll find out for sure on Sunday!!!

Singing out,

:) Leanne

Ps. Once again Heartland cast and crew YOU GUYS ROCK!!! (of course you do too BW!!:)

I am like a lot of people who have felt the wind come out of the sails, so to speak, with the first two episodes and the way poor Ty has taken it on the chin at every turn trying to get in the big proposal. I trust that after all the missed opportunities and embarrasing moments that the writers will more than make up for it to him with a great recovery sometime in a future episode. As for wanting to throw the writers under the bus, just be patient. They brought us this far and they surely won't let us down now. The old saying goes..."Dance with the one that brung you" and that is what I intend to do. Good day!

Yay! So excited! Can't wait. I do have to say, now that I've had a few days to process it, I think the writers/Amy and Ty were right in waiting. This way (hopefully) more people will want to see the wedding (which we know probably won't be this season) and that may mean another season. :) Keep up the great work!!!

Keep up the great work Heartland cast and crew.

Maybe Lannie will buy Big River Ranch since Tim is never home. Scott doesn't look happy at Lou. Looks like he handed her a billing statement for his vet services and he may boil down to her comment to Ty. Since Amy doesn't look happy either.

Just i thought... i love the new season so far!!!

I don't want to hurt the writers feelings, but they are seriously surprised by the fan reaction with what they have done in ep. 1 & 2 this season? This has to be what they wanted by doing what they did with the storyline taking Ty and Amy from ready to get married last season, to what they have done in this doing a complete 180. It's almost like last season dident happen and were back at season 3. I have faith that they will turn this around in future episodes.
Someone said it above that no matter how great a show is in previous seasons, doesent equate to how good it will be in the future. Things change, sometimes writers take a series to a diffrent place then fans might want it to go and they lose interest in the show. I hope that doesent happen here, as this is by far my favorite show. Where Castle is second.
The writers have brought us this far, so let's give them a chance to tell the story they want us to see. I did not like the first two episodes, but as a season it might just be awesome yet... Well haveto wait and see what there plans are.

I just wanna say, PLEASE let Amy and Ty be together and get engaged! I know that all can happen with a happing ending at last, but it would broke my heart to see if they don´t be together and go through this together! I´m getting marrige with my husband this summer-we have been together for 5 years now, so it will hurt me a lot if they broke up or something like that. It´s kind of the way so real in this life that so many couples broke up without no meaning or just a little thing in the way. And I want to see someone who figths for relationship and marrige!

I think Amy and Ty not getting engaged was a good thing. I do feel they should be together, but its too unrealistic and rushed for them to get married and have kids right away. Plus their characters are still very young, and wheres the fun if the tv show does exactly what you want? It would be boring if there were no cliff hangers. Personally I think Amy and Ty being engaged by the end of the season would make sense.
So far awesome job cast and crew :)

How is dating and being in each others life for five years rushing it? Are they young, yes. But I know a few couples that married at 18 and 50 years later are still awesomely married. And I know some 30 year olds that get divorced in a few years. Age has nothing to do with it. And the Amy and Ty from last season was ready. This first two episodes have taken a 180 from last season.
It will all work out in the end one way or another.

I'm amazed that some people still don't know that those youTube episodes are an illegal distribution of the show. The producers of the show are not going to ever post any episodes on youTube.

It would have been nice if they could have kept the whole original gang together, but then most of us don't hang out with the same people we hung out with when we were young. Those changes are realistic. On the othr hand "Heartland" is kind of a fairy tale for us young and old, and we can have unrealistic expectations of fariy tales.

Unfortunately, the writers and producers of a tv series have to deal with the realities of what they have to work with.

While I will miss any of the lost characters, the only one I feel like I can argue with the powers that be about is the latest change. We will all miss Mallory They wrote a special part for her; in that she had a keen insight into the character and motives of other people. You can't just ascribe that characteristic to another young character.

Chara wrote:

Posted September 29, 2012 2:36 AM

I can't imagine how frustrated BW must be getting with some of the repeated questions about US, web, and You Tube broadcasts. I know I am getting annoyed and board with. ENOUGH already! If the CBC can not, understandably, post seasons for international viewing because they have not aired in countries who have broadcast rights, then they certianly can't post it on you tube. I know if must be upsetting not to be able to see the current season, but there is nothing BW or CBC can do about it. For those who want to see seasons 4 & 5 that are on DVD, I would suggest getting creative and trying to get someone in Canada, someone you know or someone you know knows, buy it fro you and mail it to you.

Though I am a very commited fan of Heartland, I agree with Frisco. Well, said. The writers, etc. need to pay some respect to the fan base that is feeling about the back and forth, off and on drama of there key characters Ty and Amy.

I think Heartland is an awesome show, with great writing and acting, however I have been disappointed by the first 2 episodes this season, as well!! Amy and Ty, in seasons past, have always had amazing chemistry, and a passion for each other, that I have yet to see this year! They do not seem to be romantically connected at all, where did that passion go?? Ty seems like a different person and it is not just the new hair style!! I really hope things get back on track for these 2 characters. I can't remember the last time I saw them have a really romantic kiss or moment!! Fans watch Heartland to see that romantic connection and passion between Ty and Amy, please bring it back!!!

Thanks BW. I trust that the writers feel they have to make us wait and crave some good scenes between Amy and Ty so that we'll enjoy them even more when they come, but it feels weird to watch Amy and Ty so awkward with each other. I always liked their connection and the way they understood each other. Their relationship feels like it's lost a lot of depth. First of all, they don't act in love, mature, or like they're connecting at all. Where's the passion? They're not 13 years old. They seemed more mature 2 seasons ago.
Anyhow, trusting they will write some depth into the characters soon...the writers did after all have to sort stuff out and get all the story-lines rolling - work Georgie into the show (great actress), catch up the Lou/Peter story, see what's up between Jack and Lisa, etc. Ty and Amy's big moment deserves it's time and maybe shouldn't be squeezed in amongst all the season intro stuff. But they're losing something in this limbo, so I hope they get the magic back soon.

Okay, I am really confused! I watched the season finale of season 5 (Candles in the Wind) on youtube, 3 different times and each time at the end the song was "I won't give up" by Jason Mraz.
Then I bought season 5 on dvd and the song at the end is completely different. It is the same song that is listed here on the blog in the web exclusives section. (The song is "Good Thing" by Peirson Ross.) I did watch this episode on the tv when it premiered, but I forget what song was played then. What is going on here?

We are HUGE Heartland fans here in the peg-Huge. It is a major turnoff for us if this gorgeous actress is snubbed.Find her please, and recall her. She is beautiful, and a fantastic actress. We love the show, usually wind down after a hard day's work, by watching Heartland; It's hilarious, clean and so wonderfully written.Ty's my favourite. But please give us back SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA, SORAYA.

I loved the episode!!! Yay Mallory is back!! I missed her. BW you tricked us!! I thought you said that she wasent coming back? Thats awesome that she is here to stay!!! I felt so bad for Ty and the whole thing at the clinic. But it was kind of funny! I'm glad to see that by the end of the episode Ty and Amy are going back to normal. Really happy that Lisa and Scott are back too. But I wonder about the whole Jack and Lisa Paris thing?? They didnt explain that yet. Hopefully they will in the next episode.
I cant wait for next Sunday!!:)

Thank you so much for bringing back Mallory. The show just wasn't the same without her. Welcome home Mallory!! Nice to see Gillman the cat's debut on this episode. Brought a smile to my face since I had to have my own cat put down on Friday because she was sick. I've been in tears and heartbroke since Friday so Gillman thank you for easing a smile out of me tonight.

To the people who prefer Mallory over Georgie I say this. Give Georgie a chance. The only reason you prefer Mallory is because she has been there since season 1. It is always good to add new blood into a show, in this case Georgie. Georgie's character is new so it'll take a while for her character to really fit in with all us viewers. I just know that Georgie is going to be a great addition to the Heartland team, and already is. You'll love her character in time when we get to know more about her and if you don't, then don't complain about it because who wants to listen to people whine and complain about people/characters/things they don't like. Georgie is a foster child, so she is adjusting to living on the Heartland ranch and will have some attitude.

Great third episode. The poor lady when Ty handed her the ashes of the other dog. I felt sorry for both Ty and the lady. It's a little disappointing that Ty and Amy's engagement is on the back burner for now, and it'd be nice if they got engaged before the end of the season... married too possibly?? Mallory being back was kinda a shock, but I sorta suspected it as well since in season five, she was totally against going to Nashville. Wish Mallory wasn't so mean to Georgie. I mean Georgie didn't do anything to Mallory and she was taking care of Copper for Mallory, so Mallory could have been a little more considerate even though she didn't know the situation. I think it'd be very cool if Mallory helped Georgie be more of a girl for how she dresses for going to school so that she won't get bullied anymore. I see Mallory and Georgie being good friends in the future - even though I think Mallory's head is wrapped around Jake and only Jake.

This episode was a step in the right direction, but still had too many flaws to be a favorite of mine. Here are the main issues I had with this episode: 1)nothing with Mallory and the family. Everyone was excited about her being back, but ya'll gave us nothing. Even with her surprise party, ya'll had not one scene of her talking to anyone. HUGE missed opportunity for some nice scenes. 2)When did Ty go from being a really sharp guy to the incompetent, bumbling fool who is an accident waiting to happen. Give us a little more of the old Ty...the one who had his act together. 3)The Lisa/Jack scenes got way too repetitive. 3 times we got pretty much the same outline for them(Lisa show's up->Jack has to deal with Georgie->Jack returns->Lisa has to leave), and you know what I say...once(it's fine), twice(it's becoming a trend), 3 times(it's becoming a problem). Just a little to repetitive for my liking.

But the ending was nice. And it is awesome that Mallory is back, and not just for a quick cameo like most of us thought. Gotta hand it to you BW, you got us. I think most of us thought she was gone for good. Sometimes it's good to be wrong.:))

Cast may come and go but I am very pleased that the creators of Heartland choose not to replace characters with different actors if someone leaves. E.g. soap operas often do this. I can't imagine another actress portraying Mrs. Bell, Ashley, Mallory or another long-time cast member.

Mallory is back !!!! Yay - thank you !! I hope she is here to stay for a long while !!!! Please bring Badger back, too !!!!

I appreciate that the writers are keeping the Ty/ Amy storyline so realistic ! Love is not always just happy happy joy joy. It has its ups & downs. Ty & Amy are working through some issues instead of rushing into something (marriage)that could potentially seriously harm their relationship in the long run! Take Caleb & Ashley, for example. They made that mistake - what did that get them ? Divorce after the honeymoon.

If Ty & Amy get engaged by the end of Season 6 - now that is more realistic. They love each other, and they work through their issues in a mature way - THAT builds a strong foundation for a happy engagement / wedding in the future !

Be patient ! Have faith in the writers !! Have they ever let us down in the past ? No, they haven't. (Hello -- Mallory is back !!)

I am excited for whatever they have in store for us this season ! Bring it on !

Ok, because of the tweet I wasn't too surprised to see her in last nights episode but I thought she would only be back for a quick visit. I would never have thought she would move back to Hudson... :)

The episode was great,as ususal, btw. :)

Fantastic episode! It was so well rounded, dealing with so many things and bringing Mallory, Scott and Lisa back in the fold. Now it feels "normal", truly Heartland!

It is a testament to the acting chops of Graham and Amber, how well they made us feel the akwardnesss and uncetianty of things with them. The writers in this episode did not let us down, but had Amy and Ty deal with this issue head on. Loved it! Now hopefully we well start to feel the magic again between Ty and Amy. I don't care if they get married soon, I just want them to be together and be happy, whatever form it takes.

Amazing scene between Jack and Georgie in the kitchen. Wow! the expression on their faces. There relationship is going to be interesting.

Wonderful job with this episode! Things are back on track with all the new additions and story lines emerging.

I do not get any channels that have the new seasons, and would really like to be able to finish season 3 and then see the rest of the series. It is greatly frustrating that the episodes are not available, I looked in the store link that is on this site and it says the dvds are only allowed to be sold in canada, is there somewhere I can get the remaining episodes? At this point I wish I had never started watching the series in the first place because I have been left hanging.

I'm FROM the US and I'm getting sick of hearing the comments about "Why can't we watch it" and "When will it be on Youtube?"

Guys, seriously, enough. It will never be on Youtube, and honestly, if I see it there, I'll report it as copyright infringement. Why? Because it's illegal and it is disrespecting the writers, the cast and the ENTIRE crew of Heartland. To the watchers of the US, it's called patience. The rest of season 3 and (if I'm correct) season 4 will be airing this year. If you've already seen all of those episodes, it was illegal UNLESS you bought the DVDs. So, the issue here? Some people are too cheap to pay for a damn good TV show that they are apparently so obsessed over. Season 5 is VERY WELL purchasable for USA residents. So get out your fancy plastic card and order it. Same with all of the other seasons. Season 6 will VERY WELL be purchasable for USA residents by this time next year. Again, PATIENCE. -.-

From a loving USA fan that doesn't whine and BUYS the DVDs.

I keep thinking of Northern Exporsure which was my favorite Show before Heartland but when Maggie and Fleshman got splt when Rob Morrow left in the middle of season 6 Jeanea Turner could not carry the show and it all went South. My personal life is my wife and I got Married in a little less than a yr after we met at 19 and 20 yrs old ,after 58yrs ,3 children,5 Grand Children and 1 Great Grand Child I would do it again in a Heartbeat. I think Episode 3 was much better than the last two shows. I like Georgie and am glad to see Jake and Mallory again. I would like to see Caleb too. I think the Amy-Ty relationship is ridiculous. The characters have no chemistry anymore. I could see them waiting until they can make a decent living and have a place of their own, but Amy's rejection of Ty's proposal should set off lots of red flags for Ty. I think he should move on and try to hook up with the new vet assistant. This has been a great show over the years, but they have milked the Amy-Ty thing dry.

Hi!
Di-hard Heartland fan here. I read the books when I was a teen (in 2005 and onward) and the whole time I was thinking "hey, this sounds like it would make a great TV series!"
a few years later, I turned on CBC in hopes of catching a hockey game (I live in Washington State), and I saw Ashley Grant riding Appolo. I was stunned. Heartland was made into a TV series and I didn't even know it!!! I was soooo happy!

I just want to say that I don't care how long it takes, but PLEASE let Ty and Amy get married! I hated it in the books when Ty and Amy broke up, and Ty wound up dating Ellen and Amy went off with the Polo rider. Just please let Ty and Amy get married. That's all I want to see in the end. It's not fair to leave us fans crying over how long Ty and Amy have been together, all for nothing :(

That's what I have to say. Other than the dissappointing fact that this Sandra gal has come into Ty's life at the clinic(I don't like what I see...), I have expectations of Amy still accepting Ty's proposal. Here's hoping!

If you could respond back, I would be forecer gratefull.

(USA Heartland fan)

GO CALGARY FLAMES!!!

Was much better episode, but for me still not normal heartland material. Come on this Amy Ty thing really is painfully to watch there is nothing between them anymore... I mean just pecks on the cheek now? Was nice at the very end when they went for the ride, the second half of ep. 3 was getting better that is true. I did like how Amy stood up to Scott on hfiring her boyfriend. I hope they ride off and find that normal again.

Sammy wrote:

Georgie has not grown on me and I hope she leaves Heartland very soon. Personally I think Mallory had every right to be pissed at Georgie. Copper is her horse and Amy had no right to let Georgie ride him. (It didn't help the situation for Georgie to be her normal rude self.)I'm not looking forward to the next episode which looks to be all about what an amazing rider Georgie is.

Hally wrote:

How many get-rich-quick-schemes by Tim will we get before the season is over? ;) At least this time he does it to cover Shanes`s tuition, so I will not blame him... I am so excited about next week when Miranda returns and like it said in the description the whole family dynamic could change. Wonder what this is all about :)

Some really beautiful scenery could be seen in this ep. Loved the first scene with Tim and Jack and the cattle... until Lanny came along ;) Was good to see Chris and Rob working together again :)Of course I love their last dialogue. I never give up hope for Tim, so maybe this time he learned something out of it.

Amber laughing was so great. Made me smile and laught too. So refreshing :)

Happy to see Lisa and Mallory back :)

Enjoy directing Chris and keep up the great work everyone :)

If there ever has been an astute, not to mention loyal, fan of the show, it's Frisco. If the writers are losing him, it's easy to extrapolate that a lot of Heartland's most devoted and sophisticated followers are, to say the least, annoyed and disappointed with the show this year, and not only because of making Amy's and Ty's "romance" look so "high school." If they're going to make it a blatant soap opera having the leading couple break-up endlessly forever and ever ad nauseum, at least make the scenes/lines more realistic and/or to make sense based on what has already happened. Very, very, disappointing.

Hello Everyone,

I did watch this episode of Heartland and I did really enjoy it. I won't mention things word for word as I had watched it this past Monday late evening. However I will say this the cast and the crew again did a truly impressive job. As they always do.

I love how Amy was willing to stand up for Ty in regards to the misunderstanding regarding Scott. How Ty had thought he was fired and he really wasn't. Amy was willing to defend him when Scott had come to Heartland to talk about the horses. I did like how she was ready to stand up for Ty. That was really good to see.

I do realize that Georgie needs a place to call home and I did feel sad for her in regards to the lack of communication between her and Lisa. However I do also understand that Jack and Lisa need to also focus on their relationship. They need their quality time together.

I like how Amy had decided to help the man's wife learn how to ride a horse and in a safe way. I really like that Amy has the knowledge to know what horse is a good fit based off of personality and etc... in regards to the individual learning. That is awesome to see. Really.

I liked how Lou gave honest information to the man and although Tim had thought that both his daughters had destroyed his plans on making money. Really in the end he had realized that another man now respects him based on the decisions that were indeed made. It was good to see Tim put his hand on Lou's back as in a thank you for what she had done in regards to her financial advice.

It was good to see Mallory back as really when a character leaves and especially Mallory one can't help but want to see that character again on screen. Why? Because the things that she would say and the personality that Mallory has really fits in for the show Heartland. I felt really badly for her when it seemed to her like no one really had cared about her return. I like how she had tried again with Jake and he was okay with it after that.

Yes, I did enjoy this episode. I did feel badly for Ty when he seemed upset and stressed about things. He seemed hurt by the circumstances however he did talk with Amy about their love and the motorcycle ride was a nice touch.
