As you all know, this week's episode of Heartland is a repeat of episode 402 - "What Dreams may Become" because of the NHL All-Star game, which is also airing this Sunday. But don't despair, Heartland fans! I've got lots to say to you, including new photos, a reminder about Graham and Jessica's cast appearance, upcoming contests, games, and more! Coming off of the season premiere (where we'd finally seen the last of Blair... NOT!!!) Episode 402 - "What Dreams May Become," written by Ken Craw and directed by Grant Harvey, had Amy discovering that Nick Harwell's problems with his polo ponies, Lou's life in Dubai and Tim's relationship with his jockey were not what they appeared to be. It marked the return of the oh-so-dreamy Nick Harwell (played by returning guest star Stephen Amell) who we hadn't seen since episode 206. We also met Janice (Miranda Frigon) for the first time, as Lightning Dexter's jockey - and Tim's girlfriend...
It's a great episode, so I hope you enjoy it the second time around! I've put some previously unseen pictures at the bottom of this post for you to check out as well!

The Upcoming Cast Appearence
Next, an important reminder: If you are in or near Vancouver or Burnaby this Saturday, January 29th, Graham Wardle and Jessica Amlee will be appearing with a whole bunch of stars from CBC Television, Radio, and News at Metropolis at Metrotown Mall as part of CBC LIVE.
Starting at 3:00pm, they'll be meeting fans and signing autographs along with the stars of CBC's 18 to Life, Republic of Doyle, Little Mosque on the Prairie and InSecurity!
In case there are huge crowds, 100 wristbands will be given out at the location in the mall (you'll be able to find it) beginning at 12:00 noon - wristband wearers will be guaranteed an autograph, no matter how long it takes. Anyone without a wristband will have to take their chances.
So once again, here are the details:
WHERE: Grand Court at Metropolis at Metrotown, 4700 Kingsway, Burnaby
WHEN: Saturday January 29th. The full day begins at 11am - Graham and Jessica arrive at 3:00pm. Wristbands will be available on a first-come first-serve basis beginning at 12:00 noon.

Where did Lou's baby-bump go ?? In picture 4 above (with Tim), Lou appears to be rather slim - no sign of a baby-bump.. lokking at other pictures of her being pregnant, she looks a whole lot "bigger". And in picture 5, Lou looks very tired - and sad ?????

Snowbunny - These are pictures from a repeat episode from earlier in the season. Lou was not yet pregnant. The new episode won't be on until the sunday after this one. January 30th is not the new episode. It's 402, "What Dreams May Become". "Leap of Faith" will be on February 6th and I'm sure there will be pictures up for that next week.

I am a huge Heartlandaholic! In fact i'm watcing season two right now! Although i live in town my heart belongs in the country! I love the plot lines in the story and just about cried when Ty and Amy broke up! They need to get back together! Heartland just isn't the same without them together.My favorite episode of the season was the last episode "The Road Home"! When Amy and Ty shared that moment after she walked Legend through the fire is was so nice to see them missing eachother! My biggest wish is to move to a farm and to work with Amber! I hope that the cast can come to Alberta soon so i can meet them! Please tell me the next time that they will be in Calgary, i REALLY want to meet them! I love heartland and hope it continues for a long time. It has everything about real life, families and their good times and bad times. I really enjoy watching it even the repeated ones. There is something very nice about each character which makes you like them. Amy, ty, jack, lou and everyone else. From these posts I noticed people love this show no matter what age, from 13 to 61 (my age).

Yes, Heartland is for the grandmothers too, like me. I live in the States, and have watched all episodes of Heartland in the last 3 months, some many times, on the dvd's and Youtube. I like the everybody-at-dinner episodes, and it is definitely a part of their lifestyle. I hope we will all see Amy and Ty grow up and learn to communicate better. Ty's background didn't teach him much about that, and Amy is young, but now it's time for them to learn how if they are going to make it. Anyway, I'm emotionally involved in the show and usually can't sleep after a new episode, but I'M NOT COMPLAINING! Love love the show, and tell everyone about it.

But, you are probably right in saying that most pregnant characters are portrayed by an actrice with a prosthetic belly which obviously makes more sense then trying to find a pregnant actrice. [Blog Whisperer: Amy didn't actually win the truck - she just won the use of it for a year. Since she didn't keep it for a whole year, I think that after using it on the Ring of Fire tour she handed it back and took a cash payment instead, as money is always tight around the ranch.]
