My little sister loves Heartland, and I want to buy her season one for her birthday. So what I don't understand is how come you only get half of season one, for pretty much the same money as other shows cost for a whole season? Not only is it not so great to say, happy birthday, here's half of season one of your favourite show!!! But it makes Heartland fans feel like you know you have a captive audience so you're making us pay twice for our show -- and I say our show, because without fans like my sister and her friends, you'd be nothing. I am looking for an outlet in Australia that sells the Heartland DVDs. I've just discovered this fabulous series and watch it every week without fail I know it can get a bit smulchy - but I just think the characters blend so well together and of course i'm a crazy horse lover too (with 9 of my own to feed!).
Heartland screens on ABC2 in Australia; ABC2 is one of the new free to air TV channels that are popping up all over the place. Last week's episode saw Ty try his hand at bull riding and Amy at calf roping with Caleb. Not sure what season we're up to here in Australia - perhaps someone could let me know.
Well done Heartland - and i'm looking forward to buying episodes one and two - just as soon as I can find them.

I got my DVD copy of Season 1 Part 1 at the store today and seem to have a problem with the subtitles. Even though I have gone into SETUP and attempted to disable the subtitles, they just won't go away no matter what I try. I find them very distracting and want them GONE. I had been looking forward to watching the discs after work and now I'm disappointed. Anyone else with this problem??
