Michelle's Behind the Scenes Heartland Diary - Vol. 4

michelle_blog_sting.jpg

Time rolls on and the days are getting shorter and colder. The Rockies in the distance, now dusted with snow, seem sharper and almost loom larger in the crisp blue air. The energy on the set changes when things get cold. Everyone bounces around like sumo wrestlers in their puffy snow goose jackets, and hot chocolate becomes a hot commodity.

Love your character this season, Michelle. Can we guess there's a wedding at the Dude Ranch? As always the location photography is stunning, so much better in HD, yet still no match for the real thing! Great work...the only event on Sundays at 7 pm at my house is a room full of people watching you and the Heartland story.
As always, looking forward to the next plot twist, and all the music from the show to listen to on the days in between.

Wow! Just scanning over fans comments really shows the passion Heartland brings to evening tv. I am just curious who is responsible on set for the realism of the equestrian world- little things that a viewer wouldn't notice unless they were a trainer or rider themselves.

It is sad that no one supports Lou, everyone is getting better, but it is really sad. I'm a bit of a boss myself, but the less people listen to what i have to say the bossier i get - seems to be the case with Lou. Lou is a great character and Michelle is doing an awesome job with her. Also like to note that the photo of Graham and Amber is the cutest photo of the two of them that i have seen so far! - You guys are doing an amazing job with your characters aswell, and look great! Photos look great, so does Graham :) Loving Heartland more and more each day!!

I am such a Heartland Fan!!! Started watching it this year and I can't believe I missed Season 1. The cast members are truly gifted, especially Amber, Graham and the oh so dreamy, Shawn! I'm a mother of 2 youngsters and we are delighted to indulge in this show every Sunday, a great way for the family to spend an hour. I was delighted and thrilled to see Amber and Graham at the Royal Winter Ag. Fair in Toronto this past Sunday, 9 Nov. I'm Calgary born and moved to Ontario when I was young. I miss the mountains but get my fill of the scenery from the show. My 5 yr old, Sydney, couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Amber and Graham! Heartland has all my support and encouragement.

I really like heartland. I have written all the books, and loved them. I was soooo happy when i found out that there was a tv show about heartland. If they do it after the book, then scoot and lou gets married :D Soo exitit . but its not awesome that i dont have the tv kanel, because i live in Denmark. so i have to watch it on youtube, but that is better than nothing

Gosh I love Heartland its at the top of my list of favourite shows..I only started watching it this saeson.
Of course, like many people, i absolutely love horses, they truly are gentle giants. It's the closest I can get to seeing a horse since,i live in the city and woohoo BEAUTIFUL ALBERTA!!!!!!!!!!!
What I would do to have a lifestyle like that.....:)!! and the characters are awesome gooo Shaun Johnston (aka Jack Bartlett)!

well! even though heartland is in the middle of the country...i would still expect Lou to be wearing white for her wedding. arn't things done very traditionally still in the prairies? i would think so.......i started watching the show on sunday. its thursday now. ...yes... i've watched ALL the episodes since. I want to congratulate CBC for such a good clean canadian show. seriously! its well produced and directed, and the acting is great. Lou looks as though she's more of a bridesmaid than a bride in that scene....so maybe Jack? and Lisa getting married?
