I really enjoyed reading through the blog. Especially the part about the appaloosas, since i own a appaloosa myself and i can understand how difficult it would be to stunt double one. I didn't notice any different so great job!

Me and my sister were extremely happy to hear that the Heartland novel series hed been created as a tv series! We started watching Heartland last week, on cogeco's video on demand, we have managed to get through seasons 1 and what there is of season 2 in the last 4/5 days. We are loving the show and can't wait to see what you will do with it! I have read part of the novel series and my sister is almost through book 16. We think you did a great job with the casting! I love Graham Wardle as Ty, and Amber Marshall as Amy. I think they are the cutest couple! (Ty is looking really good!) Both me and my sister love horses and use to ride, until it got seriously expensive for both of us to continue riding. It is good to hear that Amber Marshall is animal lover herself, as she is the leading star of a horse loving show. I think both me and my sister feel that Heartland is very inspirational, along with all the actors in it! We both still have dreams that we will ride again, and Heartland reminds us of why we have that dream. A thanks goes out to everyone involved in Heartland!
P.s - Awesome to hear it's a Canadian series :)

Hello,
I'm a really big fan of the Heartland books!
Unfortunately I live in the NETHERLANDS so I can't see Heartland on tv.
But I saw some episodes on youtube and I really liked them!!!!
I didn't see episode 4 of season 2 yet, so I almost can't wait till that one is also available at youtube.
untill then, I just look on the site (which I also like very much).

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HEARTLAND the only thing is that the show started off that amy was 'healing/helping' horses and now its like a video-diary of her life. anyways, still cool but i miss when she gets the horses with problems.

Thanks so much for posting this. I hope to do some stunt riding when I get older, and I loved reading about how you work with the horses on set. Thanks again for making such a great show for horse lovers.

May Heartland continue to gain more viewers! I look forward to my 7pm family time every Sunday evening. Incredible talented cast! I was a huge fan of Nothing to good for a cowboy & North Of 60. Again I can't say how wonderful it is to sit and watch quality Canadian TV with my kids. Well done everyone involved. Denise Davis, Smithers B.C

luv heartland!!it gives me somthin to look forward to.
i have 3 horses and watchin heartland helps me when i have problems with them or if i want to try somthin from the show.
i think ty is soooooooooooo cute!
me and my friend always talk bout heartland at school.
ppl think that we are weird cuz we like horses. it gets anoying. my new nickname at school is 'my little pony' (personaly i like it. ha ha) but when i watch heartland i feel better about likeing horses.
i am always busy on sunday nights at 7 so i miss the show but i always catch it on the website on monday or tuesday.
i really hope that they put season 1 and 2 on dvd cuz then i would b able to watch them whenever i want and the screen wouldnt b so small (ha ha)
i also like how it is okay for little kids to watch cuz if my little cousins are over i am not aloud to watch things that they arent supposed to watch so im glad that its okay for all ages to watch.
i just dont really like how there is lots of swearing (not as much in the 2nd season). that is the only thing in heartland that i dont like.
but i still love the show. ha ha
i also like the theme song and the music that they use for the show.
i always watch then shows over and over again.
and i just got my sister (who really doesnt like horses) to start watching it. she loves it now
i also like the new site thing that is just for heartland.

I just wanted to share my excitement about this wonderful series - my husband and I are US citizens and are in our 50's - so it's not just for teens! I love the family theme, the different multi-faceted relationships, the beautiful setting, and of course - those wonderful horses. What a quality production! The actors are all fantastic and I love that each generation and their respective issues are treated with respect and dignity (and humor!). I can see where the idea of the "dude ranch" is a great way to continue the story lines and adding characters and unexpected situations. I can't wait for this series to come out on DVD so that we can own it. Keep up this wonderful quality program..long-live the Heartland series!

Kudos to all involved whom have made Heartland a fantastic Canadian television show. It is great to see my own backyard as the site of the filming for the series. It captures the heart and soul of cowboy country and community, southwest of Calgary. Just as important, Heartland is a gem of a family show for our times. Keep up the great work everyone!

Thank you so much for producing a show that is *safe* for all to watch. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and these days, it's very difficult to find TV shows or movies that are of suitable viewing for young and old. I appreciate very much that your content is G-rated, and that your story lines promote clean living, honesty and land/animal stewardship without having to include anything tawdry. Yours is one of the few shows on free-to-air that doesn't feel the need to promote any of the typical evening tv inclusions ('adult themes' ie. graphic sex or violence) that so many other shows feel necessary to draw an audience. Please, I do hope that you'll continue the way you've started - it's such a refreshing change to evening television, and I for one am all for it!

Very much looking forward to it's availability on DVD!

Ok, Ty and amy are finally togather, but i've been waiting for this for over 2 seasons now and well it really gets you thinking, will there still be a show since most of the drama was between ty and amy?? But I totally love the show!!:) and i am really looking forward to the 3rd season, I love how it is safe for all ages to watch!:) thanks so much for that!:)
A lot of the episodes like the "summer's end" one pretty much made me hate Ty for a while! cause they were kissing in the rain the Ty's like " I don't wanna hurt you Amy" And Amy said " I will take that risk!" and Ty said " Well i can't" I mean what the hell kitty was that about (sorry i dont like swearing) It made me really mad that he would do that to her, he's the one who kissed her. And he was like leading her on and she gave him what he wanted but he turned her down, and Then amy was mad and ty kept telling her that he was just messed up that night after seeing his dad "bull crap" He's loved her from the very begining and he knows it. He's just to afraid to admitt it. And Ty trying and trying to talk to Amy about that night didn't help much because Amy just needed time to like cool down, and to get her head straight. but he kept pushing and pushing which hurt her even more, and she told him that then he laid off for a while,

But hey all you Heartland fans should totally add me on msn or something i would love to talk to someone about Heartland my friends have seen one episode bevause i made them, cause well i am totally obssessed with it, yea and i would love some heartland fans out there to talk to!

Ty you are looking better and better every episode
Yea so add me!! [email address removed by moderator]
