Welcome back, Heartland. This gorgeous family drama, set in the Calgary foothills, returns to CBC after a three-week break. It's a western where the women spend much of their time in tank tops, the stable boys are stud muffins and the horses are as important to the story as any human actor. (On the show's website, each horse has its own character description.) The series is midway through its run and picks up Sunday with Episode 5, a lighter-themed hour that has bossy Lou (Michelle Morgan) making everyone perform for a commercial she's making to promote the struggling Heartland ranch. Ty (Graham Wardle), who has left the ranch for a better job, finds his new employer isn't as forgiving as Grampa Jack, and Amy (Amber Marshall) confronts him for the first time since he took off. Heartland is the best show ever! Whenever I watch it I always have chills. I love Amy's and Spartan's relationship/ bond. I wonder if Amy will show or sell Spartan?
