Tracking H1N1 across Canada

Public health officials, who have long tracked the spread of influenza across Canada, have expanded their surveillance to include incidents of swine flu across the country in their weekly FluWatch reports.
Influenza levels across the country increased notably from Nov. 1 to 7, according to the latest report released by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The federal agency also observed that the intensity of the H1N1 pandemic was was high, with 1,324 hospitalizations and 35 deaths reported during the week.
