Attention Hamiltonians who fancy their Christmas tunes both rocking and operatic: Trans-Siberian Orchestra is performing at Copps Coliseum (101 York Blvd.) not once, but twice on Wednesday. The group is touring its 2004 holiday-themed opus The Lost Christmas Eve. Showtimes are at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets, which range from $43.75 to $81.75, are available at Ticketmaster.ca.
One of the premier names on the classical guitar scene, Canadian Liona Boyd is playing the Molson Canadian Studio at Hamilton Place (1 Summers Lane) on Wednesday night. Tickets are $50.75 and $55.75, available at Ticketmaster.ca. The show starts at 8 p.m.
The McMaster Gospel Choir is holding its annual fall concert on Wednesday. The show, set to start at 7 p.m., takes place at the university's Convocation Hall. Admission is free, but the choir is asking attendees to contribute to a toy drive it's holding in support of City Kidz, an organization that helps underprivileged children in Hamilton.
