Hamilton's cold weather alert is cancelled.
The city's medical officer of health put the warning in place last Friday when temperatures dipped below minus 15 degrees.
Over the weekend, with the wind chill, Hamilton felt like a bone-chilling minus 20 degrees.
The medical officer cancelled the alert Tuesday morning. As of 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Hamilton's temperature was three degrees and raining, according to Canada's weather office. The temperature is expected to slip to minus five degrees by afternoon. Snow is expected to fall.
